This video forgot to mention not only sugar gliders should ALWAYS be in PAIRS because they can actually DIE of loneliness and not just feel it in general, but they require special food, toys, have their water changed every day no matter how full it is, and even a super large cage with tons of toys and beds to move around in. As a Sugar Glider Mummy, I got my suggies Knuckles (boy) and Rouge (girl) from two different litters from a really good breeder in North Carolina. It's also best to get the Sugar Gliders from two different litters. No brother and sister! Because if you do get a bro and sis pair, if they have babies, the babies could have major physical and mental problems, or will become super aggressive. It's also a MUST to get the Gliders as babies, and they require constant veterinarian check ups.
They also don't make good pets for small children either. Parents be warned! : if your 5 or 8 year old child wants a Sugar Glider, please don't! Sugar Gliders require very special care! It's best mature adults should own them instead.
I think children owning exotic pets should be illegal. And anyone who wants to own sugar gliders, PLEASE do your REASEARCH. And I mean a lot! Of research before owning them.

How about not telling people they should own these animals because they are cute I have three sugar gliders. They are expensive to care for properly, eexotic vets are expensive, they are nocturnal so they can keep you up all night if they want to. Two of my three bark and crab. Yes, they are cute. The thing is they need a lot of time and patience. I do tent time a few ties a week on top of the bonding pouch for several hours almost daily. It can take up to a year plus to bond with them even trying daily. Also most hate being held or pet. Yet people see cute pictures and videos doing no real research. I'd suggest verifying you aren't allergic to an animal before getting an animal. Do research for a few months. Get everything you need. Look at the cost of everything. Find articles saying why they arent a good pet. If after all thaat you think you have everything you need, at least $1000 for emergency vet funds and you have the time and patience than go for it.

If you REALLY want any on the list do your research like ANY other animal. Make sure you have enough money for the food, enclosure, and stimulation (toys, branches for climbing etc. ) if you don't take these things into account than they could become unhealthy. Edit: also. Anyways, my uncle got a wild sugar glider by accident, one time, he was staying with my family and he brought his sugar gliders. And it ended up escaping and jumped off of my balcony. And he ended up releasing them to the wild.
And if you dont like insects, maybe sugar gliders arent the best pet for you. They should eat specific insects to get protien.
Sugar gliders are actually marsupills. Glaze, my sugar glider gave birth to Boba, my other sugar glider recently. And its best to not touch the sugar glider when its pregnant. Btw, the dad is usually the one who is protective of the kid. And you should play regularly with them.

Ok this just angers me. If you changed the title to something like 10 rare and exotic pets. You said none of the downsides, To get these pets you need a lot of research, space, and budget. This is such a immature post, honestly I couldve posted this when I was 5.
I do own two sugar gliders of my own, But as I said there extremely expensive then most small animals, And have to have big cages, And a lot of time out of there cage as well. I also needed to do a lot of research before getting mine. Proving that this is immature as hell.

Domestication takes generations and is not something that should ever be used with owning exotics. Dogs, cats, farm animals are considered to be domesticated.
Wild animals like basically everything on this list can be TAME but they are always going to have very strong instincts and specific needs. Even zoological societies have struggles replicating wildlife needs.

As a WatchMojo fan and a huge animal lover, I say, PLEASE take this video down! This could lead to a lot of animal suffering and abandonment because of the wrong type of people getting that so adorable animal because of this video! The only people who should have these animals are those who rescue them and can devote enough of the right care and attention to them, not your average person!

you can't have most of animals you show here, stop this sht please, these are wild animals, of course, if you have them very young, like most animals, will be human friendly, but they are wild animals and they souldn't be pets. one more thing is that they are potencially invaders, like capivaras are in southeast asia. don't make these videos please, all for views and likes.

The title of this video confuses me. Should own? I mean no hate but this video is incorrect and I dont like it, first of all sugar gliders ARENT pets, and you shouldnt just get a pet because its cute, you have no idea what your walking into. Also fennec foxes can die off stress and when their stressed they can get destructive and people simply just get rid of them.

Mini pigs dont exist. Theyre just babies. They grow up. I hope no one has ever sent their mini pig to slaughter or even slaughtered them themselves once theyve grown up, or theyve become fed up with them or the novelty has worn off! Then again, some people probably have

Capybara are just giant guinea pigs that need a pool to swim in. If you know anything about guinea pigs, its that they poop A LOT. Not only that but these guys are more aloof and nippy.

Im not so sure about the miniature pig. My parents once bought a miniature rabbit but when it grew up it was almost a meter long and a few kilograms larger then a normal rabbit.
