Clarkson did a great job on Breakaway and it was a big hit for her. But if you have ever heard Avril's version its is even better. This is a countryish song so I could understand why it did not make the cut on her album. She was trying to establish herself in the genre. But its one of her best songs and she has a lot of great songs under her belt.

I knew all those and did you also know that the song break away was about avril lavigne's life growing up and she didn't put it on the album because she didn't think it would be good so she sold it to Kelly Clarkson's witch she said if she knew it was going to be that popular of a song she would have kept it
