I don't know if I'm going to be able to come out any time soon. I know that I am female and not male, but how do it tell my parents, friends and the world. Not once but twice both of my favourite teachers have shown signs of trans and homophobia. One of my friends (the one absolutely LOVED BY EVERYONE) publicly expresses his distaste of the LGBTQIA+ community i. e to me that seems if I come out I'll ultimately be unloved by EVERYONE and that is frightening! With my mother, every time when we watch television, she has comments like why are there so many gays, gay they mentally disturbed or why do they chose such a live. HELP ME!

Wow, that's sad. Lance didn't even care for people to know and the media forced him to come out. Lance was probably unlike the people today. He minded his own business and wanted people to mind theirs. I knew Lance wasn't a bad guy at all but a genuine person. Not like people, especially gay people today.

Im not gay, but I remember Ellens coming out and felt her struggle so much from how she expressed herself. Any sort of discrimination should not be allowed. We should all be free to be our authentic self.
