I don't think this show can replace Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I know some people think it's good, and that's fine! I just don't like it, whenever I look at the actors for this show I just can't watch it, maybe it's because I can't get used to these people that aren't the originals? I don't know. Anyways, one thing I was really upset about in this show was Ross Lynch being Harvey- Now i get it, Ross is a very good actor, in fact he was a star in one of my favorite shows! (Austin and Ally) I just don't think he fits the character Harvey. I also miss talking, wanting to take over the world Salem. Anyways have a nice day and sorry I'm so late for this video XD (I only tried to take over the world, she tried to take over the universe! -Salem Saberhagen (Sabrina the Teenage Witch - Episode: Salem and Juliette)

as a person who loves horror but watched sttw so many times, caos was a complete let down. i hated it and could not pass through 5 episodes. when i heard that there was going to be a crossover i thought maybe the show would be worth watching but whoooooooo i was wrong. whoever wrote the comedic lines for the characters tried too hard to be funny and made it cringy instead and hilda never called sabrina poopie, like what kinda fkn nickname is that for anyone? plus, why did the 1996 salem animatronic moved and looked better than the TWENTY-EIGHTEEN animatronic? i thought we were supposed to be more advanced in technology. this is a first, but i actually prefer the cheesy but perfect comedy over a so called horror show

As someone who grew up on Sabrina the teenage which and just watched the chilling adventures of Sabrina, I do like laughing from time to time but I enjoy more watching something with a story and more continuity. Also I dont let nostalgia get in the way. I prefer the chilling adventures because not only does it have a bit of humor but the story is pretty good and has potential. So I get humor and a good story, it has more to offer.

Making a Sabrina a dark fantasy horror is the best route to go with the character. The whole fantasy comedy thing involving witches and Wizards has been done a lot like in Bewitched, WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE etc that it made Sabrina kind of feel bland, generic and not that interesting. Making it a dark horror invigorates the character of Sabrina
, helps her stand out and makes her story feel fresh and new.

I remember when they tried to reboot Charmed. I just felt it was charmed on femenism steroids, did not at all enjoy it. (and I consider myself a bit of a femenist)
Sabrina on the other hand totally loved it. It took the story it was, morphed it in to something modern and exiting the audience that used to enjoy it could explore again.

Sabrina chilling, have you by any chance gotten an issue with sleeping? I have two things that I do 1) poison, resistance building, dw, iron carpet livet activates 2) put a book you have read well under your pillow, smell it first tho. and if possibly get one of them really refined plastic/organic book bags to put the book(s) into.

Lets just NOT compare them OK? The old show was so bad. SO BAD. I hate my memories of that crap with a passion. It was embarrassing, poor acting, terrible production, disgusting stereotypes, just overall cringe. Just like you cant get better than the new Sabrina, you cant get worse than the original show.

Forgot about how Sabrina is received by her peers. In Sabrina the teenage witch, her mortal peers think she's odd and weird, kinda outcasted and bullied but she doens't care as much. In the new one, she is that by the witch side but they don't think she's weird, they think she's not one of them.

you know something about the show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina I love but there was something about it that bothered me. I finally figured it out lol! It is the way she is being played it is too much like Melissa Joan Hart's version! Which IMO does not fit well in the new universe.

the 90's version not huge gruesome adaptation while chilling adventures of her same story no way no how totally different in 90's version you got famed musician cameo or guest star from other shows like eudora from i dream of jeanie as aunt irma much better there you'd think

I think a big difference between the two is in Sabrinas best friends. TTW did Jenny and Valerie dirty, especially since they were supposed to hire a Black girl for the role. CAOS at least gave us a competent friend that didnt rely on Sabrina to have her own plot

I have no idea why people keep comparing them theyre completely different shows just with the same character. The Netflix one isnt a remake of the old one its based on the comic so obviously theyre not gonna be the same cause theyre not supposed to be.

I hate how the teen shows are so horrifying, dark and disturbing now compared to 90s shows for kids/teens which were fantastically written, light hearted with excellent clean comedy. No wonder why teen suicide and depression rates are going sky high.

Well, chilling adventures isnt really based on the teenage witch, its based on the 2010s comic with the same name as chilling adventures. The comic is much more darker and more of a academia theme to it while the teenage witch is more light and airy.

Both are amazing shows I must admit. But I prefer humor over so much darkness and considering the times we are in where humor is far and few. So I would prefer the Sabrina the teenage witch over the new Chilling adventures version.

To me honestly it's a tough decision. I love the 1996 sabrina series from my childhood because of it's funny humor especially Salem, & i love the new one because it's so dark and bad ass. I could never skip the intro.
