I dont agree at all with your last point. How is he supposed to have already developed leadership skills while being a child. This is the time to make mistakes and learn from them, which eventually shape your character and help you enhance and further develop your qualities. The reason why he becomes such a good leader when he comes back to the Pridelands is because he has goodness in his heart, has the lands best interest in mind, and wants to resurrect and continue his fathers legacy. This acts as motivation for him to be a good leader. Plus, if he were to show qualities of a good leader early on, that would completely change the story line. Im all for incorporating new ideas into a remake, but not completely turning around the plot, that would just make it a different movie. Take for example the remake of Aladdin, they didnt change the plot, and other than additional modern graphics and special effects, if you really think about it, it was actually a scene-by-scene remake. However, they added more empowerment to Jasmines character, which was unexpected and refreshing. My point is: dont change the story, just enhance it!

From what I read in an article posted at the end of June, BePrepared will be in the movie.
I just don't understand why all of the sudden it will be in the remake. I guess since enough people complained about it and rightfully so. I just hope since this dude isn't a singer, that this song won't be ruined like all of the songs Emma Watson sang in Beauty And The beast. I always get nervous when reboots like this happens since everyone will compare the new movie to the original. I'm personally a big fan of the original movies. There will always be something about 2d animation and the heart that these actors put into their roles that I just don't feel now.

With the Simba and nala relationship theories, I think it's either the case that they're actually not brothers, and were 2 males where Mufasa is older and Scar is younger, meaning Nalas dad would be Scar, or ite the case that they are brothers, and they saw off another male, and even though it would mean killing every cub accept their own, they didnt think Nala was another lions cub.
Usually, to prevent reproducing with their siblings, the males would actually leave the pride, and there would only be one male who would be the leader, but it's too bad Simba and Nala had some weird hormones that made them like eachover xD

You forgot Zira, Kovu and the other Outlanders. They were supposed to be a team of lions that decided to ally with Scar instead of Simba and he had no other choice than to exile them.
AND! We need to know what happened to Kopa, Simba's first son. In some versions he was killed as a baby by Zira.
And finally, more lion tribes. We know the Pridelanders are basically the main focus but in the following movies, sequels and shows we see there are more than one pride. Simba rules over the priderock and Zira in the outlands. What if more lion pucks make an appearance. Like mountain lions or forest lions?

We already know how Scar got the scar. He was shit talking Mufasa and their dad, Ahadi, got pissed off and hit/scratched him in the face, giving him the scar. His birth name is Taka, but after receiving the scar, he wanted to rebel against his father, he ran away, met the hyenas, told them his name was Scar, and then yeah the rest you already know.
Sincerely, someone who read the books.

Too me they ruined the live action version is first Simba and Nala singing Can you feel the love tonight and the hyenas and most importantly Timon and Pumba the only thing that was James Earl Jones as Mufasa it wouldn't have been the same without his voice The Lion is a good but. The other voices that were used it wasn't the same I'm a 90s kid so it just wasn't the same

I need to see simba growing up. Well, actually in the lion king 1 1/2 in sort of showed simba growing up but yes I need to see cub simba growing up. Also, it is a remake of the lion king 1994 not all the lion king movies so I don't believe it will be so much detailed as we hope because all the songs and information we know is from all the lion king movies.

We need to see and know for sure that all the lions and other animals were very well cared for and not abused. Also, Disney needs to be active as a sponsor of the protection and preservation of these animals and be a big part of anti-trophy hunting and hunting, ensuring that none of their employees have any part in such brutal and horrendous activities.

NB: live-action of Beauty and The Beast is shit, please don't mess up The Lion King with your opinions to make it look like Beauty & The Beast remake.

So, what I heard was, We like the original but we want a COMPLETELY different movie. Although I do agree on needing 'Be Prepared'. Also, lions live in a dry area. Vibrant colors aren't really a thing there because hunting and camouflage are thinga. So this is more realistic.
reply

I understand they want to appeal to a different audience but when Is Disney going to have something new filmed. I feel like they're just remaking old films. Wheres the creativity, innovation, imagination, and magic I knew Disney had growing up

Ms Mojo is full of negativity
Nobody agrees with your claims
Clearly you never watched the original movie more than once.
We watched it a hundred times and we are still satisfied with every bits of it

reply

It cant possibly be any worse than dumbo. By your suggestions its going to be 92 hours long with 40 songs.
Do you even like the original. This video has really irritated me, contradicting waste of time

reply

We need to see scar past just a tiny bit in the movie even though I know scars past not every on does
Oh but wait be prepared is being put back into the movie no joking be prepared is back on the movie

reply

Nothing needs to be changed. People only want to see it because of the amazing movie the original is. Most of what you say you'd like to see, the core fans don't care about at all.
reply

MsMojo: #10 Avoid making a shot for shot remake
Disney: woah woah woah youre demanding too much. We wont be granting any of the wishes on this list as punishment.

reply

I know what happened to Nalas father I think
Well in real life there is only allowed to be 1 male lion in a pride so he might have left because of that

reply

ms mojo if it's still considered a kids movie. they can still leave it like it is. kids don't need all that detail. this is for the new generation. not you.
reply

0/10 nothing new, no broadway music, no he lives in you. How many years did Disney spend pissing on the toilet seat before somebody told them to put it up
reply

But we did meet Nala father in Raki painting in the lion guard and he said Nala father did fall off a tree but he was safe by the lion guard by his day.
reply

I wanna see how the hyenas came to trust scar to a point that they almost follow him blindly, it'd be interesting to see how he got so close to them
reply

Tbh. I wanted Jeremy Irons back. he flipping smashed as scar. I'm disappointed that he didn't come back and the new actor ruined be prepared
reply

You know what? All we want is a shot-for-shot remake.
Also, hopefully they wont take any of the original songs out or change them too much

reply

Im totally fine with a shot for shot remake. the original has a lot of picture perfect scenes, that Im good seeing it in different rendering.
reply

If you add all of these extra things, the movie will be too long. Keep it like it is, this is what I grew up on. No changes needed.
reply

Why some people expect song from lion king 2 and 3. they are making movie from the first one so why people want music from 2 and 3th one.
reply

Be Prepared wouldn't be be prepared without Jeremy Irons, THAT'S WHY! still upset that Disney didn't even contact Jeremy for the remake.
reply

I completely disagree with what you said about Beauty and the Beast. They added so much to that movie to make it a better story.
reply

On February 3, 2019, Skyler Shuler of The DisInsider reported that Be Prepared would be featured in the film as well.
reply

I like both.
Sorry i like the remake a lil more better because of big and cute.
