love backstreets even though the vid a tad creepy or halloween type as for britney clearly the iconic very catchy to dance to anytime anywhere TLC they got a hook in that rap for waterfalls talk about fun but also forgetting two other classics NYSNC and christina aguilera they're also known for 90's era too both aguilera and justin also mousekeeters with brit

I will always hate the Backstreet Boys. There were so annoying back then. Even as a kid back then. I hated them of being so annoying. Nirvana is a really awesome band. Those were the days but those days are over. Although, some I will hate years later. I'm looking at you Backstreet Boys. The 80s music owns 90s music. In music, 80s > 90s.

Really sad that you do not seem to be able to capture the music of a decade without the handicapped vision of a near sighted stigmatic fool. so many songs captured the ten years better but they were not a hit outside of the white middle class viewers in the USA, never mind that the country isn't even 10% of the planets population.

I wish music still had this kind of energy. The Backstreet Boys videos were Larger than Life. I also love the Nsync and Britney Spears videos. I wouldve also put Nsyncs Bye Bye Bye on this list. I was born in 1991 and being a kid during this time was amazing.

The 90's music videos that make me miss the 90's the most are Enter Sandman by Metallica, November Rain by Guns N Roses, Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, Ironic by Alanis Morissette and ALL of the Michael Jackson music videos that were released in the 90's.
reply

You can tell how good the 90s were by the fact that so many musicians on this list are still active and successful. By the way, this list is way too short. You didnt include the spice girls, n sync and Christina Aguilera. Her genie in a bottle was massive

The term Boy Band, may not have existed until the 90s, but it started in the 80s with New Edition & New Kids on the Block. Then in the 90s came Color Me Badd, All-4-One, Boyz II Men, before Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, & NSYNC hit.
reply

This list is alright but Britney shouldve been 1# or at least in the top 3.
And also Wannabe by Spice Girls and I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston shouldve been on here, they were ICONIC!

reply

One of the most iconic songs of the 90s is the 5 weeks number 1 song of the late 90s which is Genie In A Bottle by the legend Christina Aguilera and that will always be definitely one of the best!
reply

great picks, but where are cher, the spice girls, aqua, take that, guns'n roses, eminem, n'sync, george michael, celine dion, whitney houston, will smith, robbie williams, aerosmith?
reply

I can tell y'all REALLY wanted to include Britney and BSB. LOL
How could you not have Spice Girls Wannabe? SG are literally what kicked off the entire bubble gum pop resurgence.

reply

Make us miss the 90's is too broad. One song on here makes me miss 1999, another makes me miss 1990, another makes me miss 1996. They trigger memories of moments in time for me.
reply

How could you not include Intergalactic by The Beastie Boys and Come with Me Puff Daddy/Diddy from the Godzilla soundtrack? Those songs scream 90s to me all so Sabotage
reply

The Rain is the worst, most annoying song in history and the video might be the most retarded of the decade.
It damn sure don't make anyone miss 90's Missy.

reply

There are sooooo many great music videos from the 90s that helped define that decade. It's hard to narrow it down to only 10. Pretty solid list to start with.
reply

Alanis Morissette's father was a principal of Our Lady of Fatima when I was in guidergarden and I was one of the students there when I was a kid growing up,
reply

You guys need to find a song other than Smells Like Teen Spirit. This has become one of the most overplayed songs of the past thirty years. DO BETTER.
reply

So USA Centric! Here in the UK, Brittany Spears, Alanis Morriset and Nirvana were known but Ive never heard of the others, even since then.
reply

The fact that Freak On A Leash wasn't even an honorable mention is a joke. It's by far the best music video of the 90s and that's a fact.
reply

Wow, I cannot believe they did not put Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You or Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On from Titanic.
reply

Ya I remember all those videos. The one that I thought was so different and cool was Tonight, Tonight by the Smashing Pumpkins
reply

What about Hanson's Mmbop or NSYNC's I Want You Back!
Also, Weird Al also parodied TLC's Waterfalls titled Phonycalls

reply

Looking at the comments I have to laugh because we sound like our parents when our music was becoming the new sound
reply

Titanic meets Avatar. What? The Smashing Pumpkins video was clearly an ode to George Melies a Trip to the Moon.
reply

No Spice Girls, One of Wannabe, Say Youll Be There, 2 Become 1, or Spice Up Your Life should have been on here
reply

Not as good as the 80's but way better than today's music. After the 90's, the quality of music deteriorated.
reply

Tonight Tonight was a good video, but dont think its a top 10. November Rain should have been on there
