Penn Badgley's self righteous condemnation of fans of his character bug me a lot. He's fictional Penn, guess what if someone was being stalked by a murderer irl? They wouldn't find it charming, unless they themselves were totally whacked. Society has always loved villains, we love seeing a character who just dgaf about giving into their darker impulses, ones that many people have but they are stopped by their conscience, fiction is a SAFE area to explore that in because no one is getting hurt in actuality. Also (I say this as someone not into men) Penn Badgley is objectively attractive, which also contributes to people liking Joe, as opposed to running away like they would irl. (Again unless they're completely crazy. The fact he himself acknowledges doubles my annoyance. The character is literally designed to conflict you, and then he scolds you for being conflicted.

In the end of season 2, looking to his new neighbor, he ends making a facial expression like he just recognized something so I think this woman is related to his past. Then you can see this woman writing poetry, something that Beck already did so I guess it could be either Beck or her mother

Powerful screenplay and writing. I caught myself constantly rooting and even sympathizing for Joe. It must be my deranged, inner-self. Joes character represents all of the negative surge in emotions experienced in a relationship, stretched to extreme lengths; hes eerily relatable.

This show shouldve been a limited series with the final seconds having another random girl walk in and joe say the same hello, who are you? As he did in the first episode. This would show that joe is going to repeat this process of stalking and killing forever until hes stopped

They lost me once they killed off Beck. I won't be watching season 2. That was a totally bad move. Beck was so awesome and she looked like a sweetheart/badass. How could they do this?
