The early aughts were a great time for TV romance. For this list, were looking at our absolute favorite couples from TV shows airing between 2000 and 2009. Were categorizing couples based on when they originally got together so Ross and Rachel, whose relationship began in the 90s, wont fit on this list even though they were together in the 2000s as well. Our list includes The O. C, One Tree Hill, Friday Night Lights, Lost, How I Met Your Mother and more! Join MsMojo as we count down our picks for the Top 10 Memorable TV Couples of the 2000s

Naley is way more iconic than Chuck and Blair. They stayed together despite everything they went through. She sacrificed herself while pregnant for him. He was there for her when she lost her job and her mom. The time jump on OTH was not controversial. Majority of the characters were going to different colleges or going their separate ways. You can't have like 5 different storylines in like 5 different places. It would have been confusing.
You want to talk about a controversial time jump then look at Desperate Housewives. That time jump was so unnecessary. I stopped watching the show because of that time jump.

will they charm-filled chemistry/won't they spy life obsicles - saving each other's lives XX times - and - winning one another over and over again XX times and AGAIN from zero on the Malibu beach - hard to imagine a more soul-mated couple in 2000s TV than: Chuck Bartowski and Sarah Walker - - - How is Charah not mentioned?

Jack and Kate were the worst couple on Lost and I'm not saying this just because I think Kate would've made more sense with Sawyer. Desmond and Penny actually had the greatest love story on the show, followed by Jin and Sun. Even Rose and Bernard were better than Jack and Kate.

I think Ryan and Marissa should be here. They were even much more iconic than Seth and Summer. Oh those old days! But happy that OC was here. Pretty happy about this list. But Joey and Pacey should be number one, or at least in top three. They will be my number one, always!

I really love Leyton. It's my favorite couple from OTH but I understand that Naley is on this list. The same with the OC: I prefer Ryan and Marissa but Seth and Summer had to be here. I also love Pacey and Joey, Jess and Rory, and Chuck and Blair from this list

Naley should be in top three and chair should not be in this list if we consider chuck is a literal criminal who hurt Blair several times and abused woman several times and should be in jail and lastly Veronica and Logan should be in this list

rory & jess were toxic af, stop promoting them. i love jess as a character, he's interesting, but he treated rory like shit. would you want your daughter to be put through all the shit that jess put rory through? i hope not!
reply

Okay but Bones and Booth, Castle and Beckett, Mulder and Scully, Ross and Rachel, Monica and Chandler, House and Cuddy, Jane and Lisbon, Tony and Ziva, Michael and Sara

I was actually happy when I heard Derek was leaving the show because I seriously hated him and how selfish he was. He was a jackass and Meredith deserved better.

I was about to get mad at you for not putting Sydney and Vaughn at number one, but then I realized Jim and Pam were at the top, so I'll let it slide.

Lorelei and Luke are an awesome couple. They where meant to be together. And Rory should've ended up with Jess, and everyone agrees
reply

Naley & chair were the best couples by far. Naley are so relatable and just relationship goals. There's no comparison.
reply

I think Summer and Seth should have been higher on the list and Ryan and Marissa should have been on the list

the fact that nathan and haley are NUMBER 8 WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE LITERALLY THE BEST 2000s COUPLE IM PISSED BRO
reply

pacey and joey should be higher they have so much chemistry i have never seen before in any other show
reply

Chuck and Blair where more than iconic they where epic! The best chemistry on tv ever I still miss Chair
reply

Just a little biased but Coach & Tami are too low on this list!
Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose!

reply

Come on Leonard and penny should've ended upon the top 10 list instead of the honorable mentionslist
