My Personal Favorites Are:
8: A Cinderella Story 3 [Underrated; Good Songs, Lucy Hale is an icon] 8. 2/10
7: Rags [If Only it was made by Disney, people would have loved this movie much much more! ] 8. 2/10
6: A Cinderella Story [Sweet, Light & Jennifer Coolidge, need I say more] 8. 4/10
5: Cinderella (2015) [Probably the best costumes and sets, good that the cat and mouse stuff was removed] 8. 7/10
4: Roger & Hammerstein's Cinderella (1997) [Beautiful Movie! Severely Unpopular! ] 8. 810
3: Cinderella III: A Twist In Time [It takes the concept of Cinderella and improves upon every aspect! Especially Cinderella's character] 9. 5/10
2: Another Cinderella Story [Great dance, Great songs, Selena & Drew have great chemistry and the acting was great too, Jane Lynch deserved an Oscar for this movie! ] 9. 8/10
1: Ever After [Danielle is ICONIC! The most grounded representation of Cinderella, Drew Barrymore nailed the role! ] 10/10
My LEAST favorites are:
5: Cinderella (1950) [People keep calling it a classic, but the movie was about Lucifer and the mice more than Cinderella herself! ] 5. 8/10
4: A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish [A Cinderella movie, set around Christmas sounds already convoluted. Also, the Prince can't recognize the Cinderella in this movie with her wig. so, he's not gonna recognize her without it because like she's literally the same] 5. 5/10
2: A Cinderella Story: Starstruck [It's literally the same movie as A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits but worse. ] 5/10
1: Cinderella II: Dreams Come True [Cinderella from wish] 4. 8/10

My top 3:
1) Three Wishes for Cinderella (1973)
This Czech fairy tale is the greatest adaptation of the story ever. And by far. The beautiful setting, music, costumes, witty dialogues and charming playfulness of Cinderella and her prince only add to the fairy tale magic.
2) Ever After
The costumes and setting are breathtakingly beautiful. The story is amazingly well written and works wonders with the historical references.
3) Cinderella (2015)
This Disney live adaptation elevated the popular Disney animated version significantly by evolving the story and giving the characters actual personalities.

Ever After with Drew Barrymore and the R&H version with Brandy and Whitney Houston are first and second on my list, with Anne Hathaway's Ella Enchanted coming in third and the R&H version with Julie Andrews in fourth. The others either don't register or I haven't bothered to see them. The animated one kinda poisoned me on the story, I guess. No character development whatsoever, which is a problem I have with several of the classic Disney movies.

I got like 15 minutes into Ever After and decided I hated it. Maybe I should give it another go based on these comments?
edit: i have since watched it in its entirety and have now decided that the movie itself was wonderful, its only lacking quality was Drew Barrymores horrendous attempt at a British accent and in some parts poor acting. Also the scene with the Spanish Princess blubbering was extremely awkward and not funny to me, just weird.

Into the Woods should not be on this list! It's not a Cinderella movie if it has other princess characters!
Now, check out these Cinderella movies
Yeh-Shen: A Cinderella Story from China
After the Ball
Only You
If the shoe fits
Cinderella (Cenerentola)
Not Cinderella's Type
Three Wishes for Cinderella
Assepoester
This is just a few that I can name off the top of my head!

Ever After, 1998, is from a higher league (in comparison with the rest ones mentioned here. It gave the Cinderella story some depth, and the quality of the cinematography and acting is superb. Maybe one of the best movies ever made in general.
And animated Cinderella, 1950 - is the charming classics which brings me back to childhood.

What about the 1965 re-make of Rogers & Hammersteins Cinderella with Leslie Ann Warren and Stuart Damon? It shouldve at least made honorable mention. You mentioned Julie Andrews & Brandis versions, but Leslie Ann Warren was spectacular, and only 17 when she made the movie. And Stuart Damon was just the best prince! Watch it if you can.
reply

Excuse me? Ever after is far superior any of these movies, I'm completely shocked it was not number 1. The disney live action was. ok. It's enjoyable but it gets boring rly fast. And the OG disney cinderella was one of my least favorite disney movies when I was a kid. I actually enjoyed Cinderella 3 much more than the original.
reply

My personal favourite is still 2015s Cinderella. I even it prefer over the original animated Disney movie. (And Im sorry Ever After fans, but I love it more than Ever After)
The chemistry Lily James and Richard Madden had was great, Cate Blanchett killed it as the stepmother, the COSTUMES and more!

reply

Not Cinderellas type is one of the best in my opinion, it definitely should have been on this list. It teaches people that there is more than one type of abuse and educates those who dont know much about it. It deserved better imo same with A Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits
reply

I have to say Into the woods was awful.
I live in S. Korea and watched this movie in the theater when it was soon released. But some crowds just went out the theater not watching the rest, and I also wanted to run outta there

reply

Im offended that Brandys Cinderella is number ten!
Its a classic, fantastic singing, dancing, and a black princess. Whitney Houstons singing is fantastic in it and it paved the way for the others they came after it.

reply

The Leslie Ann Warren version of Rodgers and Hammersteins Cinderella is the best version. She is beautiful and elegant and everything Cinderella should be. Nothing else even comes close. She is simply perfect.
reply

Into the Woods is absolutely dire with not a single decent tune but it's a work of towering genius compared to the lump of dogshit that is the Fat Pussy's (James Corden) version of Cinders on Amazon.
reply

In the film Three Nuts for Cinderella 1973 CSSR-NDR, the audience is divided into two groups. The first group knows that it is the best version of Cinderella and the second group has not seen the movie.

Don't get me wrong, but to me, Cinderella 2015 is much more realistic and better than Cinderella original. It should have been number one.
reply

My fav is A Cinderella Story from Hilary Duff and Chad Murray. Original, might seem typical but has the best message of life. You gotta love it
reply

Cinderella story with Hillary Duff will always be the better one because it showed how the dad died and it's just so different and better
