Top 10 Times Talk Show Hosts Made Celebrities Uncomfortable People recoil at the sight of men fantasising about rape and gore on incel forums like murdering prostitutes wasnt how weve summed up GTA gameplay since 2001.
Game of Thrones got televised with so many graphic rape scenes that George RR Martin had to clarify the book wasnt that bad but that didnt stop it from being a best-seller.
Lets face it, popular culture has only allowed things to be more graphic in recent decades, at this point something like the incel movement is just things being pushed another inch.\r\n

Dude so many of these are people making jokes and trying to be funny which night in night out on comedy shows with boring actors who take acting insanely serious is probaly hard. Imagine doing stand up every single night with a different act then before and part of the act is taking boring people and trying to be funny. And I'm not saying people shouldn't be offended because that's not necessarily something you can control but dude understand the concept.

Stephen Colbert was probably the least odd and well intentioned on here. I did performing arts, everyone who worked technical weren't trying to make you uncomfortable or feel you up, but they definitely would just adjust things when they wanted and it was welp, this is my job, hope you understand kind of vibe. I feel like he could've made her aware and allowed her to do it herself. At this point she shouldn't be a stranger to making her own adjustments.

Think about the fact that Craig Fergusson is not on this list!
That is because often female guests (openly) flirted with Craig. (Betty White included)
Compare that the grey creepy men assaulting women in these examples.
Craig was the best host American television ever had (maybe because he wasn't American)
PS: Special nod to Jon Stewart. he was also an amazing host.

I really dont think Colberts was his fault. He clearly was not trying to do anything unprofessional I mean yeah he couldve just told her but it wasnt like he was trying to cop a feel. I dont think I wouldve felt awk about that, he was trying to get clear audio. And Kristin is all about feminism so if its okay to do to a man, why not her? I really think that situation is on her.

I have a time when a host made a celebirty uncomfortable: Lindsay Lohan went on Lettermen's show in 2013 to talk about her newest movie but he only talked about her time in rehab and made fun of her past mistakes. He really is a mean guy. However, Lindsay handled herself well through the interview and got lots of support online.

I feel like the audience in these should also feel bad, they should of been booing or calling out the talk show host for being inappropriate. Just show some support to the guest who is clearly uncomfortable instead of laughing which just encourages the host and makes the guest feel worse and more uncomfortable

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH LETTERMAN AND HOW DID HIS SHOW NOT GET ENDED SOONER. Even the Beiber thing was crap. People have the right to do whatever they want to their image whether you like it or not. Wouldn't have blamed Beiber if he stormed all the set.

what I learned, Americans and Muslims are the only two people that feel uncomfortable, offended and hurt if any one sneezes from 500k. m distance if them. God dam if any one moves they feel their personal space is invaded. how could they sleep at night?
reply

I think Colbert just had fixing the problem as quickly as possible in mind and didn't realize how awkward that would get. Live TV like that would be tough. Definitely not deliberate like whatever the heck was going on with Letterman.

Letterman & Conan are two of the biggest perverts amongst talk show hosts, especially letterman. If it had been today's times, Letterman would been cancelled after a few episodes. It's shocking that he's celebrated as a legend.
reply

i don't think Stephen Colbert meant to make Kristin Stewart uncomfortable, it truly just was a mic issue that he needed to fix. he did make her uncomfortable, of course, but it wasnt on purpose and he didnt realise he was doing it.

You should watch Aishwarya Rai answer back to david letterman. Miss World 1994. Beauty pageant women are always thought of as bimbos, but that lady held to her class and wittingly handled that dumb interviewer for good.
reply

I'm surprised Ellen or Oprah is not on this list. Ellen had so many abrasive moments with the guests and Oprah would confront certain guests. I guess we also forgotten Rosie O'Donnell confronting Tom Selleck.

Don't put your boobs out if you don't want that kind of attention. He doesn't have the right to touch you, etc. but women look at men when their muscles are out, show a lot of skin and men look at women, too.
reply

Ugh the Kristen Stewart interview was so wrong. How hard is it to say the words hey, your chain is on your mic. Do you mind moving it? But instead he gropes her. Rape culture is alive and well.

Are men asked if they are married? What does ones martial status to do with anything? The actors/actresses are there to promote the role they are portraying NOT their personal business.
reply

WOW Kimmel is bad at this, he doesn't pick up on cues of being uncomfortable. Same with Letterman
Honestly, I with Letterman about tattoos - there is such a thing as too many

reply

Or show the times Jimmy Kimmel would go out on the streets and have young females guess whats in his crotch by sticking their hands in his pockets. Remember Jimmy?
reply

I was born on the same day as David Letterman, April 12th and I must admit us Aries A holes are naturally very nosey and very flirtatious. He can't help it. Lol
reply

Ive always though Jimmy Kimmel was disgusting. Yet he always trys to talk about whats right lol but this video just really shows hes gross
reply

12: 31 I don't care if it's not my place to say this, but there is no way she decided to wear that outfit and expect that to not happen
reply

I dont like Colber but with the thing with the necklace seems okay to me. It can happen and he did not jump into it but explained
reply

it doesn't really come as a surprise that Jimmy Fallen can't tell the deference between what is and isn't funny
reply

If one owns a show, don't touch a woman unless she says you can. Until then back off lest you lose your career
reply

That video that they showed of Joaquin was said to be a scripted reaction, though the break dance part wasn't.
reply

Wth? that totally was a bet with the letterman Aniston situation! Not that its right but I can tell
reply

I cant believe you left off Cosby interviewing Sofia Vergara I wanted to take a shower after watching it.
reply

funny that these are the people that lecture the public today on how to live their life and how to behave.
reply

Another classic example was when David Letterman made fun of Paris Hiltons prison sentence back in 2007
