Um, you know the full context of the Harry Met Sally scene was Sally said she tends to fake her orgasms because she rarely orgasms realistically right?
The only one of these that does annoy me though is the High Heals thing. Only kind of context I can forgive the scenario is if the woman didn't think she would be in a situation where she'd be running in the first place. Perfect example in True Lies, Helen at one point was in a black dress in heals, but mostly because she had to be for a scene. However, she wasn't expecting to get kidnapped wearing it. Now this is when she gets smart, at some point she does discard the heals when she needs to run. Now that's what women should do if they're in that kind of situation in a movie (or Heaven forbid, real life.

In Princess Diaries she had to ditch the curly hair to be beautiful and then we had to believe she blew out her hair every day? Blowouts don't stick, as soon as you wash it the curls come back. Paulo should have loaded her up with curly hair products.
Edit: Also, in How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days, she was writing an article about losing a guy. I think the boy talk made sense to the situation. BUT all the other times, yeah, we're not talking about boys ALL the time.
AND am I the only person who puts on hand and face cream before bed?

OK so on the heels what do they expect? Are you suppose to run from a dinosaur with no shoes and step on glass and fall then get eaten or stop and try to find sneakers somewhere. Get over it. Running in heels is not that hard. I do it and I've seen lots of other women do it. Get over it. If you wear heels a lot it's easy. You get used to it. And and business attire means heels for women so she was dressed appropriately for how Jurassic World started.

Not to be offensive but: unrealistic things that happen to men in movies and tv shiws sometimes i assume in teen dramas:
1)They look super hot and pretty they get accepted by their crush 2)they re super nice and only say 2 sentences and smile
3) They have no persona and everybody likes them because of it and they dont get exited or wanna talk.

I dont agree with the one about women only chatting about men during work. This appears in Rom-coms and obviously in a film like that no one is interested in seeing the woman work, these films are based in funny dialogue and comedic unrealistic situations and reactions so of course thats what theyre going to show! Why is that even weird?

#2 - bras to bed is a thing for women who have larger chests for multiple reasons but the number one reason I've come across when talking with friends is that it is your sleep-top: you don't want a t-shirt or night-shirt to like yet another layer but don't feel totally comfortable sleeping in your skin
reply

I'm still creeped out from a guy watching you sleep, while you don't know he's there. is romantic. oh the worst. when a woman says No thank you. The guy keeps at it & eventually the girl says yes & falls in love. despite showing no interest before. It makes it uncomfortable for me

The glasses thing gets on my nerves. I wear glasses it doesnt change me that much. So many crazy things about chic flicks especially the perfect morning look and talking about guys at work. Same with heels. Why cant we just have normal women. oh wait that wouldnt make a good movie
reply

They never have normal or even weird jobs. They usually work in some office at some dot com or fashion magazine. Every now and then their a doctor lawyer or nurse. Mix it movies not not everyone works in offices.
reply

Try living in a place where winters are long and harsh and you too will put had cream on before going to bed every night. Forget to do it for a couple of days and watch your skin breaking. Literally!
reply

#5 reminded me whenever I watched The Walking Dead because those women had no leg or armpit hair growing and somehow also have a bit of highlighter to make them glisten while fighting zombies hahaha
reply

The thing about the Jurassic world with the girl running from a T. rex with heels is that it is possible to out run a T. rex since they where really slow but that is only if you are a good runner
reply

I'll give Bridesmaids credit. Right before that clip, she wakes up, sneaks off to the bathroom to fix herself up, then slips back into bed in an effort to impress the guy.
reply

I wear a bra to bed it doesnt bother me so thats actually not unrealistic also I feel like Im not pretty with my glasses to other then that everything else I can agree with
reply

Always wearing Perfect makeup in bed should be Much higher!
And Yeah the glasses thing pisses me off too!
They suggest we cant look good or even descent with glasses!

reply

I disagree with the bra thing lol I sleep in mine all the time and in many movies women are actually braless so you can see their nipples. Especially in the 90's.
reply

Whenever a woman is running away from something or someone, she will invariably trip and fall forward. Miraculously, her hair and makeup will always remain flawless.
reply

Many of these things that happen are just conventions of shooting movies. Film makers and writers understand why they happen.
So, duh, MOVIES ARENT REAL LIFE!

reply

Well. Let's remember that in Jurassic World, the one that insisted on using heels was actually the actress, not the producers.
reply

Its easier to say that with the exception of some indie movies EVERYTHING that happens to women in movies is unrealistic.
reply

I saw Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, and Sam Sparks looked better with glasses. Because they helped define who she is.
reply

to think that Bryce Dallas Howard argued with the director of Jurassic World to allow her character to wear heels. SMH
reply

I guess I'm not like most women lol I wear my bra to bed unless I'm on my period and the girls are super sore lmfao
reply

They are just movies. It's not that serious it's just entertainment. Most of the movies u showed are older anyway.
reply

People need to leave Jurassic World alone. It was actually her choice and she did it for real except one scene.
reply

the body hair part is so true! I've always wondered if girls in western countries are actually that hairless! XD
reply

Love the pick for number one, and that you choose the clip of someone proving that very point to back it up.
reply

Number 7: THANK YOU! Im sick of people who tells me to remove my glasses because Im not pretty FOR THEM!
reply

They shouldn't count bridesmaids, kristen made fun of that troupe she woke up early to do hair and makeup
reply

Shows clip of RED, where character is shown to change out of heels and into army boots. nice choice
