These are all great, No! Excellent ideas! I am looking forward to The Lord of the Rings the TV series when it comes to Amazon Prime. But not really enthusiastic about Ron Burgundy.
I have got some ideas for Movie to TV show adaptations:
Storm, the X-men/X-Woman. Fans would finally get a decent look at her powers, her full story, and try some new things with the character.
Cloverfield, really an event series from the ordinary people on the ground, the scientists in space, and the people who are fighting against the monsters.
Cats and Dogs, how the cats and dogs really run the world and protect humans.
Looper, another time-travel TV series, but only this time in reverse, forwards, and backward.
What do you all think?

The Chronicles of Narnia, anyone? It falls into the category of film adaptations that didn't do so well at the box office, so the bar is set fairly low. Additionally, a point brought up in the video applies here: with the actual books being relatively short (the whole series is only a bit longer than the longest Harry Potter novel, it would provide a relatively sparse story telling canvas. A creative mind could fill this with further character development and a more faithful adaptation than a movie could provide.

harry potter as #1 are you serious it only has dark magic spells and very wrong for kids less than 13 yrs. old to watch it however sisterhood of the traveling pants on the other hand would be more better choice comedy chick flick tear jerker learn about life much better choice it's about friends family love laughter no one would watch younger than 13 would watch spellbounding dark very mishevious fight movie ever

Seven seasons of HP would make me the happiest woman alive.
And Percy Jackson would be greeeat too, it shouldn't be just an honorable mention, it would work so well as a TV show.
Now, I disagree with The Anchorman. I don't think the insane comedy of Anchorman would work on the small screen. Unlike movies, people search for beliavable characters on TV shows.

Seriously, the only thing about Boyhood that made it special was that it deliberately took them years to make it. The story was completely mediocre. Seeing it in a TV show format is ANY LONG-RUNNING SERIES! This video actually just made me realize that.

if Harry Potter were ever to become a tv show, it wouldnt be nearly as good without the movies cast. i absolutely cannot picture anyone else playing the characters. like, imagine some other guy playing Harry Potter other than Daniel Radcliffe? it wouldnt feel right

Harry Potter would be good as a TV show if this were animated so we won't replace actors with crappy ones who'll end up ruining the series. As for Percy Jackson, IT WOULD BE BETTER AS A TV SERIES THAN A MOVIE but better as an animated series.

I know a few anime that would make great live action TV shows in America. Namely Fullmetal Alchemist, The Gate, and Card Captors. The first 2 would be done by the people who did Game of Thrones and the last by either Disney or Nickelodeon.

As much as it'd be cool to have series adaptions of popular movies, it barely ever works out in reality and most likely would kind of ruin the fandom: / Like how we all were desperate for more Harry Potter but then Cursed Child happened!

I agree with mean girls and harry potter as for the rest of them no but I didnt like any of the other movies Especially anchorman anything with Will Ferrell and it sucks. But Harry Potter would make a great TV series Netflix to do that

I would give anything for a series with the Marauders! to actually see how Lily and James fell in love and the backstory to why Snape hate Harry so much in more detail than form the previous movies. And to see more of Sirius!

I remember when Sixth Sense came out that I thought it'd be good as a series, with a ghost needing a problem to be solved to be able to settle each week. Then they came out with The Ghost Whisperer, so at least I was right.

I think Harry Potters already okay as a movie series. They literally have a hundred-million dollar budget on movie production so I dont think any of the silver-screen worthy stories would be appropriate on TV.

I couldnt agree more about an Incredibles TV show. The show should have the whole family, Frozone, and the new superheroes from the second movie fighting crime and super villains beside them. That would be cool.

Nah as a TV Show they probably dragged to long. Add unimportant filler episode. Even adding another episode after the book ends. Also TV budget and Effects aren't as special as Full length Box Office movie

The harry potter films are amazing, they don't need a tv series. Percy Jackson on the other hand, they can actually do the books justice unless some idiot decides to make teenagers fighting monsters PG.
