Frankly, I never understood how so many people can ship a guy who cheated on his girlfriend with her best friend? For all of you saying that Brooke went after Lucas even though she knew Peyton liked him, that's simply your justification for Lucas and Peyton sneaking around behind Brooke's back. It also alleviates both Lucas and Peyton of any responsibility for their actions. Nothing excuses what the two did not even their alleged epic love. Also, it could've all been avoided if Peyton had seized her opportunity with Lucas and Lucas, given his true love for Peyton didn't have to begin dating Brooke and certainly didn't have to let their relationship become serious. Peyton and Lucas made a choice to betray Brooke and I'll never understand how so many people could ship them. However, setting aside Brooke, what I could also never understand is how people could ship these two when Lucas treated her so poorly, right from the start as he jeopardizes Peyton's relationship with her best friend then he totally disrespected her by cheating with her again while he was with Lindsey who he would've married had she not walked away, it wasn't Lucas who stopped that wedding. Yet Lucas loves her, huh? Lucas is an awful guy who mistreated every woman he claimed he loved including Peyton but it's all okay because they're meant to be? The only thing I know about this couple for sure is that they certainly deserved to end up together because they weren't good enough for anyone except each other.

god people frustrate me so much with this whole brooke vs peyton and brucas vs leyton thing. Its not so black and white. They both were amazing and TERRIBLE friends. Brooke was not the best person at first, but she changed as she dated lucas, but that old side came out when her best friend and the boy she loved, hurt her SO badly. I recall brooke asking peyton several times before going after lucas, and it wasnt some Hey im going after lucas you good with that? type thing. Brooke genuinely asked peyton if it was ok, and peyton said yes, so i dont fault brooke for that. When peyton kisses lucas AGAIN, brookes bitterness was completely understandable, im not saying it was ok for her to slap peyton and make remarks of her dead moms, now that was just cruel. Peyton was actually being the best she thought she could be. Peyton was there for Brooke SO much, and I could say the same about Brooke, they both were just insensitive. Lastly i will always LOVE brucas, but theres no denying peyton and lucas were meant for each other. I could see brooke and lucas being meant for each other as well, it was just the right person wrong time sort of thing for me, but im happy with her and Julian. thanks for listening to my ted talk: )

I loved the show but I didn't like it when they did the side stories of the characters that weren't the main characters it just got to much I mean honestly I didn't really care for the guy that Brooke dated that was in clean teens or the actress that Julian tried to help they weren't engaging at all and it just got boring when they dragged those stories out and really did Brooke, Julian, Lucas and Peyton all haveto get married and have babies for one thing they were just out of college and to young just didn't make sense to me. Nathan and Haley getting married and having babies made sense cos they were so in love from high school.

Unpopular opinion, but Leyton is NOT One Tree Hills It couple. They were beyond toxic to each other. Everytime I watch this show Im sad at the fact that Lucas and Peyton ended up together. They literally bring out the worst in eachother, one of the worst couples in tv history.

i was so mad that lucas was with brooke. they just had no chemistry. they had nothing in common. peyton and lucas were like so deep when it came to emotions and they were both artists in some way. they just had more chemistry. im so glad that lucas ended up with peyton

I loved them so much, I hated that Brooke put herself in-between them when Lucas always had a thing for Peyton.
yeah they made a lot of mistakes, but ultimately their love was strong and when she got pregnant it really showed.
I'm happy they were endgame.

I'm rewatching the show and you left out the funniest one of all: when they slept in the master bedroom on Karen's bed and they couldn't. ahem. focus. and then we see Peyton laughing at him because she never heard anybody actually yelling at their dingus.

Is it just me who didnt like their relationship? It took way too long to actually happen and it was built based on Lucas cheating on Queen Brooke. And tbh Clay and Quinn was waaayyyy cuter than them to me like that was the perfect replacement.

Peyton is quite literally the only person he was a good partner to. Dont get me wrong, he was pretty horrible when they were broken up. But when they were actually together in seasons 4 and 6, he was loyal to her.

Maybe I'm biased, I never could enjoyed this couple because I love Brooke too much. I don't even like Brucas, I think its more because of the fact that Lucas and Peyton disappointed me so I never got over it.
