There are so many reasons you should watch The Morning Show. Were looking at all of the reasons you should My mother was one of the first women in the maledominated field of journalism. She was often the only woman in the newsroom, though there was sometimes a female receptionist. She later became an editor of several different local newspapers, before groups, who never wanted to be called, chains. Mom was hazed heavily during her early years, with professors putting their byline names to her articles, to which she responded, I am a far better writer than youre ever going to be. The newsroom boys painted her chair, desk, telephone, & old black Underwood typewriter with pink nail polish. I am extremely proud of whom my mother was in the workforce; however, it was certainly not without cost, neither to herself, nor to me as her daughter, as i was her support system with raising siblings, & doing household chores far beyond my age. The great irony is that i was not taught to forge my own way & become a woman of influence. I was taught to support other peoples dreams with doing the grunt work. I suppose, really, everyone needs support, & work which challenges & satisfies us. Men have often benefited from such support as having a stay at home wife, or partner who does double duty, pulling an extra at-home shift after her workday is done. That women are equally capable in most work positions, except perhaps those requiring direct heavy lifting, is quite clear. She also cleared the way for all of the women who followed in her path. I only wish she had not relied so much upon my efforts, & that she had empowered me more as her daughter. As it was, when i went away to college, which she had not wanted me to do, as she was terrified, apparently, of losing her support from me, she then hired a fulltime, livein maid!\r\n

We were going to watch the first episode last night and ended up watching all three, it was that good! Anniston, Witherspoon & Carell are excellent in it as are the supporting actors. Dont believe the critics that are hating this show, watch it for yourself and decide!

Old formula done many times over. Did they take that boardroom scene from Mommy Dearest where Joan Crawford character tells the Pepsi board of directors off. Steve Carell is obnoxious and Aniston can't act. Seriously isn't there anything new anymore?

The whole reason I signed up for ITV. It is soo good. On season 2 now. We have watch parties and try not to watch more than two episodes at a time! Can't believe I am just finding it within the last few months!

Chip or Mark Duplass was sooo freaking phenomenal! He was overshadowed by Witherspoon and Aniston. Gugu Mbtha-Raw was also incredible. And I always love seeing Billy Crudup. But Duplass was the standout to me

I love Jennifer Aniston since I first saw her as Rachel in Friends and in the morning show, she still looks great at this age and her acting is really superb.

What a great show! I don't understand why it got a mere 60% on Rotten Tomatoes. The realism is so glaring but yet it's somewhat fiction.

Best show I have seen in YEARS! The entire cast is amazing! Jen Aniston is unbelievable in this roll! Love it!
