It was clear Elsa's emotions were far more complex than those of just a straight-up villain.
Disney, have you LOOKED at your movies? Your classics like Snow White, Pinocchio, and Dumbo didn't sugar-coat the dark stuff for kids. Cinderella straight-up shows the emotional and psychological effects of years of abuse. Mulan showed the horrors of war. And do I really need to spell out what you did in adapting VICTOR HUGO'S The Hunchback of Notre Dame, one of the darkest books ever written?
I'm so sick and tired of Disney, and media aimed at kids in general, pussy-footing around their target audience. Children think and feel much more deeply than many adults give them credit for; the ideas that both good guys and bad guys can be complex and that the world isn't morally black and white are far from being revolutionary concepts. And such ideas aren't too sophisticated or too dark for children. Pretending otherwise and creating stories for children that feeds that false narrative will do nothing but stunt their emotional and psychological growth.
As for Elsa herself, her being the villain, or at least an anti-heroine, would've been awesome. We could've had a badass Scandinavian Morgan Le Fay of sorts, but no. It seems like they wrote Let It Go, saw dollar signs, and draped Elsa's skin over the song rather than fully forming her independently first and then writing songs around her.
Basically, Disney, quit being so money-hungry, stop trying to create a monopoly on the entertainment industry by buying out everyone you see as a threat, and for Walt's sake, get your balls back.

part of me wishes aladdins mom was kept in since actually was kinda heartwarming how he did his actions both to find his own happiness alongside his mother's from the few deleted scenes ive seen, but it probably wouldve been hard keeping balance with that and his friendship with genie and when he meets his dad again in king of thieves so its probably for the better she was cut. i do completely think for frozen they shouldve cut hans out and instead make elsa antagonistic to anna due to being isolated but eventually warm up to and improve her relationship with her sister as i felt frozen really didnt need a villain (especially a overused suprise villain) and instead have the consequences of the parents actions be the focus as a callback to older fairytales having good lessons but bizzare or even dark ways of showing the message.

If you are also this about it, not just Toy Story would have bene effected if they had kept with the evil Woody, but also the sequels would have been effected as well. As Disney's-PIXAR would eventually release 3 more sequels, that came out in 1999, 2010, and 2019. But would would they have done for any of the sequels, as not too many Disney villains returns for the sequel. with Jafar being on e of the few that did return, and even Shere Khan was back in The Jungle Book 2 along with most of the characters from the Jungle Book. And that would be if they were a direct to video or later direct to dvd sequel, or a movie sequel that went to theaters. As most but not all the Disney villains would fall to their deaths.

I do agree that the graveyard scene would have been a whole lot darker if it was in Cars, but another deleted scene that would have changed the movie was the community service scene, where McQueen had his engine removed from his body and was put in a steam roller and Mater steals his body and takes McQueens place. Not only would this scene been a little darker this would make the citizens of Radiator Springs would have been bigger jerks than McQueen ever was

Elsa really should've been the villain as it was originally supposed to be instead of some misunderstood heroine and Frozen would've been a far, far better film. Changing the entire movie completely all because of Let It Go was possibly the dumbest creative decision ever made thanks to John Lasseter (so glad he got fired from Disney. Making Disney's adaptation of the Snow Queen woke with misandrist propaganda was also a mistake.

The thing about the lion Kongs alternate ending is that Simba becoming king wouldnt feel earned cause he basically got lucky landing on the tree. I feel like the creators did go with the ending we have now due to it being way to dark but I also feel like they realized that in order for the movie to end with a bang simba had to win by his own efforts and thats why the ending is so amazing

Gaston's death would be different, he would survive the fall from the castle with a broken leg and then eaten by the wolves. But they used that for Scar's death with the hyena's. And let's not forget the famous soup scene in Snow White. Nana was going to go to Neverland as well. And it may not count but king of thieves was going to reveal Mozenrath as Aladdin's brother.

They showed it in the series, but at first, it was supposed to be revealed that Eugene was, in fact, a prince (I don't think he was going to be the prince of the dark kingdom since, without the series, the dark kingdom technically would have never existed) in the movie. It got deleted and was later added to the T. V. series in Destinies Colide.

Chicken Little as a girl should have been on the list, because it showed really true emotion for this version along with other deleted scenes rather than the final film where he's a boy and having mean spirited overtones. I'm also bumped that Mojo never talked about it, despite being one of the worst movies that Disney ever made.

What about the deleted scene of the shock collar celebration, from Zootopia? Where the lil polar bear cub got a shock collar on I think his birthday, and stopped celebrating once it shocked him since it prevents predators from getting too excited.
That wouldve made the movie be a whole lot darker

What about the whole shock collars concept for Zootopia? Jeez I just want Disney to not downplay it's dark material anymore. It was dark to begin with, as are the original tales of the stories they use, and it's clear to see that Disney still has a dark mind because of most of these deleted scenes.

When I was little, I had a tape player and had a few Disney tapes. Proud of your Boy was on the tape and on the cover it explained that Aladdin was supposed to have a mom. It also had a song called Home from Beauty and the Beast. I think Pocahontas If I Never Knew You was on it as well.

Well? That scene from Monster's University with Mike & Sully meeting 4th grade was actually the scene that they talked about shortly in the first movie. This is the scene that I wish that they took along, because that will make them more true to the whole franchise.

Oddly enough, I suspected something about Ursula and Triton even as a kid. While today, I would interpret how Ursula refers to Triton as Daddy upon speaking about learning that Ariel had fallen in love with a human, I sensed at that time, Ursula was a family member.

I really loved Ursulas backstory in the musical version of the Little Mermaid as opposed to the film version. I would have loved the musical number in Coco. That would have been awesome. Evil Woody is a big no for me,

Could someone please tell me what the fourth emotion they mentioned for Inside Out was? I've listened to that segment twice and I still can't figure out which emotion they're trying to name.

Why is this more PIXAR than DISNEY? Not even honorable mentions of Snow White or Robin Hood? Nothing live action? Frozen doesn't always have to be in the top of everything

You know, I missed the old animations where there were some dark parts to contrast the more lighter ones, like the ones from the 90s. That decade was really Disney's golden ages.

Inside out focusing on joy and fear? That wouldve been something. I wouldnt mind seeing alternate versions of the movie where joy teams up with the other emotions someday.

Also the singing voice of Mulan, Lea Salonga revealed that she was supposed to sing the whole song in the movie but was cut because the directors felt it was unnecessary.

What about the original idea where Tick Tock the Croc finally ate Captain Hook or Nana was originally supposed to accompany the Darling kids to Neverland from Peter Pan?

They should've kept Elsa as the villain instead of making her the hero, the story would've been 1, 000, 000 times more adult if they didn't make her the hero.

Frozen was way overrated, would've been better if Elsa was sued by the Dark Side and became a full-blown villain before having a change of heart
