You forgot to mention the Powerpuff Girls Leave the poor Kid to be chased on a hamster whell by a mutant hamster, both that episode and The Zombie Magacian Episode are the Darkest because the Power Puff Girls act like total villains to continuously make them suffer and dont try to help. I like these dark episodes though because they are gems and show the hypocrisy of Society and being the mob mentality monsters when they call others monsters. Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go was really dark too.

Number 1. Was one episode I could never forget when I was a kid cos I never expected the girls to take a dark turn of allowing their newly found avarice to consume them to the extent they played dirty deals with Mojo Jojo just to get what they desired and when things got awry, they bloodied the poor monkey to a freaking pulp. I felt really bad and sorry for Mojo cos I've never seen any characters in kids cartoons I've watched taking such a brutal beating

When I was a kid I used to hide in the corridor and watch cartoon network past my bed time because my dad genuinely liked the shows and kept it on. I remember watching part of The Headsucker's Moxy before my mom caught me and sent me back to bed. I was so scared imagining all sorts of things, and took a ling while to sleep. I thought about it a lot. Weeks later the same episode came up and I was so relieved to see the ending! Finally felt safe again.

Speed demon was really dark. I did have an interesting thought though that other villains might have also wanted to take over townsville, but it is just that HIM was more powerfull than all of them and managed to defeat everyone else. What made HIM the most scary villain is that despite the fact it is a fantasy world with super powers ultra smart monkey and monsters the fact HIM has supernatural abilities made him the strongest villain.

Bubblesvicious was oddly brutal and gruesome.
When Bubbles fights the level 11 monsters, she splits them in half and theres green liquid which symbolizes the bl00d, and on the montage, you can see an ey3bll get knocked out, its insane. Its not that it was brutal for the older people watching, but for the kids geez.

I watched the original Powerpuff Girls show with my little sister and we both enjoyed it, actually we both agreed that some of the darker moments (some on this list) were awesome! HotDiggityDemon did a video why the original PPG is better than the crappy PC Reboot a while back.

Am I the only one who thinks HIM's transformation into a giant monsterous HIM looked very similar to the way Ganondorf turns into Ganon at the end of The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time?
Especially, considering a different episode had a blatant reference to Zelda before.

I don't remember half these episodes from my childhood but I've been rewatching PPG ever since I found out it was on Netflix. The ones I do remember seeing as a child I wasn't disturbed or scared by lol. Same with Courage the Couwardly Dog. Idk how but I was unbothered by these
