The tragic life of Britney Spears hasnt exactly been lucky. Most people know that Britney Spears got her start as a child star, finding fame on the revival of The Mickey Mouse Club. But while Britney may have projected an image of an all-American girl from a typical family, her real home life was much more troubling. MsMojo looks over the tragic life of Britney Spears. What do you think is next for Britney?

None of us are her, and everyone needs to stop insulting, or making fun of her. When someone hits a low point, if it was your own friend, or family, if you acted the same you should feel like crap. Media, and insensitive interviewers should really question themselves when they stop treating a hurting person with compassion and understanding because of their own media gossip. So called professionals wouldn't treat their own daughters so badly, and are a disgrace to their profession for using their position to try and get ratings. A real media personality would try and have a decent conversation with someone, and not insult them. I sincerely hope that all the people who found it necessary to use media to rip her down realise how small, and insignificant they are. Trying to use Britney to further themselves, by 'jumping on' is not what a talented, or serious interviewer does. Being distinguished is what shines light on a good interviewer and a decent person. If she puts another album out, all those same people who had nothing good to say, will suddenly be on the band wagon, hoping to be in a ratings climb. At that point, I would like to see her tell them all to go themselves, and talk to the few people that were kind to her during her difficult time. Media, fans, and so many people inbetween had the opportunity to show some compassion, and failed quite miserably. Had there been less judgement and bias, and a bit more decency, she probably would have done better than she did at times. So many so called professionals should feel like a disgrace to their profession, and to themselves. Now they can go back and look at themselves and see how pathetic they were. After all, that media footage won't disappear. Maybe they should all start signing an apology wall, and ask for forgiveness from her. Maybe that would make a bit of difference.

i dont think there is anything seriously wrong that can t be put right relatively quickly with good psychotherapy and medication probably antidepressant s etc. plus anything it takes to make her feel good and stable. finally there is always the excellent priory hospitals group in london, roehampton, which is relatively easy tocontact and set up appointmentwise. i think she may have suffered from a typical reactive depression style disorder plus some anxiety which would hardly be much of a surprise. we are all rooting for her and wish a happy future.
the result so far has been a type of temporary conservatorship since about 2007 or 8.
secondly there is always a fairly great risk of excessive costs especially in a country known for its high lawyers and attorney fees, i feared lest a company should do this, they will charge up to 18 % of her networth or indeed one may negotiate a flat rate which is not going to be much below 75 - 100. 000 dollars to manage both finances, investements, taxes etc. the basic charges will be there if there have been good earnings in any given year or not, that must be borne in mind always. as i say the us fees are amongst the highest in the world. it would run in the way of a family office setup in a bank, i. e. basic care for the interests o socalled high net worth clients. so first of all it has to be clear who does what and who takes what fees at any given time. there must also be an overview in writing of all charges. a famlily office type setup may be of more help. but remember anything that can be billded, every phonecall. letter or transaction, will turn up as fees somewhere. this may go into hundreds of thousands per annum and must be planned dilligently.

This reminds me of a incident that happened during a stay at a psychiatric facility; a woman, not much older than me, pacing angrily back and forth in the assessment lobby screaming about seeing her mom right outside the window. She kept screaming that the facility was holding her against her will, that she was mentally stable and didnt choose to be there. But the fact of the matter was that she was looking at the opposite side of the facility where the ambulances and employees enter, and it was impossible to have seen her mom out there. And she was put there by her mother, who felt afraid the girl would hurt herself or others, or make a terrible decision that could screw her life even more. She was also purposefully put on birth control by her parents and doctor, as she couldnt keep in check certain aspects of her life. (AKA, kept getting pregnant by shitty men who would later abandon her)
Sometimes, when you reach a certain level of psychosis, you start to believe things that arent actually true or distort reality around you. Seems like Britney still needs serious help to both get out of the spotlight and become healthy again. I hope she gets to live normally one day.

It is really hard for me to hear, listen and see all of what Britney is going through, and what her life was/is like, without it bringing tears to my eyes. I've followed Britney since the beginning. Her first album was my first real cd I could call my own when I was like 9 years old. I love her, I literally wanted to be her! I wish the best for her I wish she had been able to do what she'd actually wanted in life and not have had to be tricked at a young age, lured by fame and fortunes only to be made a puppet for the evil doers. It is purely sickening how people can just trample over a beautiful butterfly without remorse. I hope the people who did this to her and who continue to do this to people who don't deserve it, I hope those people burn in eternity.

She said she wanted a break after she broke up with justin what was that like 18 years ago! Shes a shadow of her former self and that is heartbreaking. She lost her life shes been working from she was 8. It proves money cannot buy happiness. Imagine the women she would be today if her life had of took a different path. Shes completely lost the sparkle in her eyes. She faded away untill she was unrecognisable to the point people think shes a clone. I can only hope shes left alone gets her kids gets out of this hell. If you see her on the street smile thats all let her have the life she craved for so long. She gives us some much joy through her music and performances. We can give her this a life. Finally

I believe Britney is a great singer, she has a voice, her voice is strong but fame change her voice. They wanted Britney to have a different sound of voice. A voice that is recognizable to everyone and it did it became so iconic but what about her individual. Maybe thats why she was a judge on the X factor show cuz she know how to sing. Poor Britney hope she fine happiness and peace.

It's so incredibly sad that her parents took her to the star search & Mickey Mouse Club auditions all the while not knowing that they were eventually setting her up for failure. & her messed up relationships with Justin Timberlake, Kevin Federline, & childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander were also a huge factor that led to the mental breakdown seen all over the world.
reply

I don't blame her! She was stalked and traumatized! I probably would have done worse! They just need to leave her alone! Give her some peace and some freedom, she would be just as saner as anybody. It's not her sanity! It's her circumstance! Love you Brittany! Fight like hell and get your life back! Don't let them drive you crazy!

Her parents sold her to an industry sharks. There was a very short time she was an innocent child ace that was taken away from her. No wonder she finally broke, instead of being mocked, she needs serious help from someone who sincerely cares for HER welfare. Her fathers actions reminds me of the way Joe Jackson exploited MJ
reply

I think if britney had financial freedom she would be as broke as lindsey lohan, britney is immature, but a sweet person and mom it appears. I can just tell her mental health is not very stable, and that Kevin Federline doesn't help the situation either. Her dad is trying to help his daughter not be broke at 50.

Im a huge Britini supporter. Justin revealed something intimate about their relationship and I can see why. He was cheated on, hurt, mad and betrayed so he decided to expose her. If the shoe was on the other foot and she exposed him, it would be considered ok. But when a man exposes a woman its not.
reply

Absolutely disgusting how she's been treated. Amazing performer and beautiful person. Cash cow all her life. Now that she's not performing, it appears she has a non existant support system. A disgrace. Hope somehow things change. She deserves a lot more. Money cant buy happiness!
reply

Why the title is so depressing? She achieved so much that very few people can achieve. Its not a heartbreaking life its life itself with ups and downs. When there is too much stress and judgement and when you re a sensitive person this happens.
reply

the biggest tragedy of Britney's life is that her own biological family exploited & ruined her, nothing is more gross than that, this girl gave everything to them, love, support, her wealth & that's what they did to her
reply

They forgot to point out the NUMEROUS hit and run accidents. That is how she lost her license lol there are videos of her and various celebs doing this multiple times. This is a known felony and yet none are ever charged.
reply

i think that because she was popular at a time where society pressured women more. the idea that she was ready to do everything for her kids shows how she is great person and does deserve freedom
reply

It is truly sad what the people around her and the media did to her. she was the shit back in the day and sadly they made her look so crazy but really they were just taking advantage of her
reply

Britney & Marilyn are some long lost duo whose life stories resemble so uncannily it's crazy what this business does to sweet, talented and emotionally vulnerable women

When you sell your soul there is always a price to pay! And when you lie down with dogs you end up with fleas! I'm not sure why this is so hard for people to realize!
reply

She also made a Barbecue sauce commercial and was on two episodes of Star Search before Mickey Mouse club. She also studied gymnastics with Bela Karolyi.
reply

I think the conservatorship saved her life but lasted too long and she lost a lot of money paying for everything. I'm looking forward to her book
reply

I pity the voice of this video. She is so judgemental but her entire life is not as entertainment as any 5 minutes of Britney's life. Hilarious!
reply

I love how she is now refusing to perform until she is released from her dad and conservativship. Yay for her having a back bone.
reply

It's very sad what Society has done to this young lady. Once I learned a little about her past I begin to pray for her and I will continue
reply

So they ruined a young girls life by forcing her to be something she didnt want to be and then abandoned her when was struggling. wow
reply

Did u know that so many of her songs were only a cry for help like: overprotected, everytime, lucky but now it's too late.
reply

When she was driving without a license did she forget to bring it or was she not licensed to drive there is a difference.
reply

Can you imagine if you are Britney what do you feel. me I feel uncomfortable, I don't want to hear that Britney is a bad mom!
