There is a major problem with this list, good as it is.
Most of these are not dance hits, and it shows MsMojo's U. S POV.
Flo Rida, Outcast, Pnk, Nelly, Timbland, Nelly Furtado, Lady Gaga, Shakira, Kevin Little, Sean Paul, Beyonce, and Brittney Spears did not have any dance hits in the 2000's, those are pop hits. Yes you're able to dance to them, but they are not dance hits.
You did incude a few dance hits, but they are just the few that made it over to the United States, suchas Kaskada's Ever Time We Touch, Kylie's Can't Get You Out Of My Head, and Daft Punk's One Moe Time. Madonna's Hung Up and Pitbull and Nicola Fasano's I Know You Want Me (75 Street Brazil) are also dance hit.
However, here are some other dance hits, so you can redo this list properly:
DJ Encore - I See Right Through To Yo (2001)
Kosheen - Catch (2001)
Durb - Durb (2001)
Benny Benassi - Satisfaction (2002)
Deepest Blue - Deepest Blue (2003)
Andrea Dorea - Bucci Bag (2003)
Ian Van Dahl - Will I (2001)
Lost - Roger Sanchez Feat. Lisa Pure and Katherine Ellis (2006)
Owner of a Lonely heart - Max GrahamVs. Yes (2005)
Put Your Hands Up - Fedde Le Grand(2006)
I Remember - Kaskade and Deadmau5 Feat. Haley (2008)
Most Precious Love (Freemansons remix) - Blaze Feat. Barbara Tucker(2006)
Shivers - Armin Van Buuren (2005)
Murder On The Dancefloor - Sophie Ellis Bexter (2002)
Sandstorm - Darude (2000)
White Lies - Paul Van Dyke Feat. Jessica Sutta (2007)
And toseare just a few dance songs fro the 2000's, not that pop stuffyou have mostly o ths list. Hoe this hels.

The main pop star artists that owned and dominates the era of 2000s in terms of dance house music: Britney Spears Christina Aguilera Rihanna Madonna Selena Gomez Demi Lovato Jonas Brothers Miley Cyrus Beyonce Avril Lavigne Taylor Swift Kesha Kylie Minongue Jennifer Lopez Shakira Katy Perry Lady Gaga Pink Fergie Ciara Kelly Clarkson Leona Lewis Gwen Stefani Nelly Furtado Eminem Maroon5 Coldplay Alicia Keys Kelly Akon Ne-Yo Pitbull Enrique Iglesias Sean Kingston Timbaland David Guetta Red One Justin Timberlake Jason Derulo Usher Drake Chris Brown Lil Wayne Black Eyed Peas Snoop Dog Sean Paul Flo Rida Cascada Afrojack Armin van Buuren Tiesto Missy Eliot Jay-z Kanye West Ludacris Ricky Martin and plenty of them as the list goes on.

Britney really ruled the 2000's. I agree with your top choice but how could you ignore Jennifer Lopez? She had Let's Get Loud, Ain't It Funny, I'm Real, Get Right, Jenny From the Block - all became huge dance hits! Madonna's Hung Up & Shakira's Hips Don't Lie should've been in the Top 3. Both songs topped more than 30 international charts - more than any other song from this list! Absolutely Everybody (Vanessa Amorosi, Wild Dances (Ruslana, Rumors (Lindsay Lohan) are another awesome Dance songs from that era

sorry, I have to give you a thumbs down.
If you were going to use Cascada, then 2009's Evacuate The Dance Floor was a much better choice. What about 2004's Yeah! by Usher
You completely didn't even have Don'cha by the Pussycat Dolls ft. Busta Rhymes, either Fergalicious OR Glamorous by Fergie. take out Crazy In Love and replace it with either Independent Women Part I OR Bootylicious and what about Ain't No Other Man or Candy Man by Christina Aguilera.
Complete miss in my book!

A lot of these songs are very forgettable. I don't know a lot of them. probably because I didn't listen to most of this crap during this time, I still am extremely picky about music, and I never really listened to the radio.
Hung Up is the best song on this list. I turn my subwoofer on full and listen to that song at least once a day. And I'm not gonna lie, the video for Call On Me is pretty damn good. Who doesn't like looking at women's asses?

The only thing more fitting for this list, would've been if Kirsten Ria did the voiceover. She literally just did a Kylie Minogue Can't get you outta my head cosplay photoshoot and she completely transforms into Kylie. It's freaky how much she looks like her.

The sound of dance house music of the 2000s gives me some shivering vibes of good old days of nostalgic childhood memories by listening to these masterpiece jams that never gets old and always gets better like a wine while listening.

Crank that - Solja Boy? Independent Woman - Destiny's Child? Scandalous - Mis-teeq? Tide is high - Automic Kitten? Cha cha slide - DJ Casper? Usher Yeah 3X? Anything to do with Steps? There's a massive list you have missed
reply

A ton of Britney songs she could have her own category honestly and caught up and yeah by Usher should have been here and im glad you mentioned Flo Rida but in the Ayer was another one that gets people going
reply

Yeah! By Usher is totally missing from this list. I was in high school in the early 2000s and I know the dance floor would go crazy every time Yeah! came on. Not one person would be sitting down.
reply

The sound of the 2000s really hits harder the feeling of nostalgic childhood memories when we grew up with these wonderful masterpiece jams of iconic songs that we listened it back then.

It fascinates me how closeminded US society is. If you think people do not dance to non-english songs you should state in the headline Top 20 Best Dance Songs of the 2000s in US.
reply

dirty circus come on over candy man any taylor swift and beyonce or katy perry carrie underwood all catchy dance ones as well shania or at least man I feel like a woman
reply

This is a great list. Superb actually. Just a bit baffling that songs like Ke$ha's TikTok, Usher's Yeah or Jennifer Lopez's Waiting For Tonight weren't on this list.
reply

Man i really miss these songs. I feel like since 2016 the dance pop genre just died. We'll get like 1 or 2 songs vs back then it was hit after hit after hit.
reply

Do you know that there are pop song in 3/4 time that you can waltz to? Kiss From A Rose, When I need you? And Les Bicyclettes de Belsize are great examples.
reply

Why even mention Ozona when they have the best dance song and seriously its like mentioning Aqua Barbie girl and I have been putting it on the list
reply

Ummm Kylies Cant get you out of head wasnt just a top 10 hit, it was NUMBER 1 in 40 countries and for it to be ranked at number 12 is insulting.
reply

Im mad that Missy Elliott was nowhere on this list. Get Ur Freak On? Work It? Lose Control? I mean, come on!
reply

I love here that travel song from Dora the Explorer thru out these decades from the 2000s, 2010s included the 2020s!
reply

Half the songs on here I would dance to till my sides hurt. One More Time and Low are my favorites.
reply

Don't Cha by PCDs, Get Ur Freak On by Missy Elliott, Don't Stop the Music by Rihanna, Tik Tok by Kesha
reply
