Chuck Lorrie and the rest of the producers along with the writers of TBBT should have not ended the show without having Leonard and Penny going through a divorce. Especially sinceit was pretty clear that as the show got into the later seasons that Leonard cared more for Penny than Penny cared for Leonard. And, the show also should not have ended without Raj getting married too. The show should have reunited Raj and Emily and the series should have ended with their wedding after Sheldon and Amy received their Nobel Prize. And, having the reveal of Penny being pregnant in the series finale really was a bad move indeed. Hopefully in the near future there is a TBBT reunion special where all the important loose ends involving the main cast members get tied up.

1. The title of the show is just a dumb pun, as in This geeky physicist wants to bang his hot neighbor, lol. I don't think there was much more thought put into it.
2. Um, wouldn't it make more sense if Howard was Barney in another dimension? They're both (at least wannabe) manipulative womanizers whose fathers abandoned them; Howard is just much geekier and lacks Barney's charisma.
3. The only issue I have with the insane asylum theory is that lobotomies started to become discontinued in the '50s, and the earliest the event in question would've happened would've been the '80s depending on Sheldon's age.
4. In which episode did they reference Psycho? I must've missed that one!

YIKES. Top craziest theories are the words. These are a product of the minds of Redditors which I cannot take seriously because most of them are foot-in-mouth poser tweens who are already bored with life. They are a sad lot. They tend to ignore the entertainment value of everything and psychobabble to create backstories of insignificant fictional characters instead of tackling a comprehension of historical men and women. Reddit encourages outlaw behavior and violence as a solution to its membership. With that hive mindset you should not make lists like this from such shallow thinkers.

While a lot of people on the spectrum don't like the autistic representation of Sheldon, it's really offensive and dehumanizing to call an autistic person a 'robot' or an 'alien'. Just because we think and act differently doesn't mean we aren't human. It's those kinds of things, and bad representation like Sheldon, that make it seem okay to pick on and laugh at us.

Howard's relationship with his mother is incestuous. I know it's a sick theory but considering him still living with his mother until he's 30, losing his virginity to his cousin, he's comfortable being in questionable situations with his mother and being turned on by Bernadette sounding and acting like his mother, I mean come on!

I mean, the Penny is a spy theory actually makes a lot of sense when you see how she lived on a Cheesecake Factory salary. That extra money has to be coming from somewhere. It would also explain why she was the only member of the cast WITHOUT a last name, until she married Leonard Hoffstetter.
