ONLY reason I clicked is because Notting Hill JUST finished airing - grabs my heart every time - and I HAD to know if it would be on this list, LOL! Thank you for confirming my hunch. :)
Jerry Maguire You complete me, yeah, and that's one hell of a sales pitch pouring out his feelings, but I just love You had me at Hello, as in SIMPLY the act of trying, JUST showing up was enough, she didn't need a single word of his speech, he already won before he started.

The theme song from An Officer And A Gentleman played a big part in our marriage happening.
40 years ago, my bf and I wondered if love would be enough to overcome the differences in our backgrounds and personalities. That song just connected with us, and encouraged us to go for it, in spite of the obstacles.
This year, we'll celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.
Thank you Richard Gere and Debra Winger!

Have never seen Say Anything, but I know that scene like the back of my hand.
So many of my fave one-liners in today's vid.
Show me the money!
You had me at Hello.
I'm also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.
To me, you are perfect.
And the ever-legendary She rescues him right back.

Love the scene in Safe Haven where Katie and Alex find themselves alone in the restaurant after getting rained out and start dancing to Brandi Carlile's Hearts Content. And then the scene where she's going to take the ferry and he arrives telling her he loves her and will protect her no matter what and asks her to please stay.

MY FAVORITES:
In the Rain (The Notebook)
The Marching Box Scene (10 Things I Hate About You )
New Year's Eve Reunion (When Harry Met Sally)
You Complete Me (Jerry Maguire)
Up the Fire Escape (Pretty Woman)
Melman Talks About Gloria (Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa)

Love Story would have been been a good one to be on the list. I mean the main male character gives up on his family fortune to be with the main female character. They have the line love means never having to say your sorry, which was first said by Jenny Cavilleri.

Why is the boombox scene iconic? It has no effect & isn't mentioned by any of the film's characters. If it weren't included, the rest of the film would be exactly the same. I expected Diane to run out of her house & jump into Lloyd's arms, but she ignores him.

I'll never let go rose telling jack as he drifts under water (titanic) I think I'm falling in love with you slaps once then again then says snap out of it (moonstruck) declarations of love right there but the lift and serenading someone also very romantic

The Declaration of love that Harry gives to Sally at New Year always makes me feel warm and cozy inside. Yes, it may be a little cheesy, but Billy Crystal pours his heart and soul into the speech, that it's impossible not to adore it.

I think of the end of Rocky. Hes all swollen and bloody and surrounded by reporters, but he can only think about his girl, and he keeps screaming over them, Adriane! Then that embrace at the end is just so sweet.

I'm sorry, but every time I see that clip from The Notebook I think it looks like she's going to eat him, she opens her mouth so wide! (Incidentally, I read & hated the book so I never saw the whole movie)

You complete me from _Jerry Maguire_ will always be my favorite declaration of love and the second best line in the movie, right after the equally adorable, You had me at hello.

The only movie moment that comes close to being as iconic as In Your Eyes is the very ending of The Notebook. Serendipity and Lakehouse have some excellent feels too tho.

Jerry Maguire is my favorite Tom cruise movie and rom com that line is so beautiful and it was performed by tom cruise which made it even better

What about Helga FINALLY confessing her feeling to Arnold in Hey Arnold: The Movie? Also, her confession in The Jungle Movie could also count.
