A lot of that was frowned upon in the 90s & 00s when the show was new but it was supposed to be in a different time when that stuff was the norm.
If these topics were dealt with properly & sensitively it would not have been believable as a 70s based show and that there is what gave them their buffer zone.
I mean lets face it the 70s had weird racism, aggressive feminists and crazy toxic masculinity everywhere.
Oh lord is Generation Z about to get butt hurt over a 25 year old show about 50! year old times and start cancelling it!
You cant have a 70s Show if it doesnt act l& handle topics like the 70s did.
I remember laughing at stuff thinking, damn, we sure did handle things differently in the 70s. It reflects the progress weve actually made.
Would this stuff be offensive today? Absolutely but thats the point, its not today, it was the 70s man! So get bent!\r\n

That 70 show was one of the best shows. I'm actually enjoying that 90's show. I think all of them were funny and some people just are too soft nowadays. I think a lot of people take things too serious. This is a comedy sitcom set in the 70s. Unlike WatchMojo and Miss mojo but you need to pull y'all storm out y'all's asses. I'm sorry was that to homophobic? The one about Nina getting back at her parents buy sleeping on their bed with him was hilarious. I don't think it was sleeping with him just to make them mad because she did not like them or something. It was getting back at them for the way they treated Fez at dinner. I thought that was a great way of getting back at them.

I dont want to hate on anything, but you do realize that point 10 (fminists) is as true today as it was in that show, maybe even more so. scroll 10 minutes on like tiktok and you get at least 1 angry women bashing in on how bad all men are, how they are the root of anythin evil and misfortune a girl might encounter her entire life.

I am Latino, I have lived in the US and I do not think that the jokes towards Fes were racist, just friends playing pranks on each other, I imagine that in the 70's the Latino community in Wisconsis was not that big, and the fact that they accepted Fes in their group of friends shows that he was not racist

Although this list is correct, and those jokes could not exist in today's highly oversensitive world, it is too bad that Watch Mojo didn't discuss it as a tragedy. It is unfortunate that this site, not about politics but about lists, has chosen to jump on the woke bandwagon.
