I appreciate that the significant bit is being a movie couple, but I'm not sure that you can include real-life couples like your no. 1. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is, by its century-old title, too much of an archetype for inclusion, and, as you indicate, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (the book) pretty much wrote the book way back when it was published.
With their literary sources, CLUELESS and TEN THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU are also questionable choices for a high rating? - but in the straight versions of EMMA, Emma and Knightley are rather alike, as were Burton & Taylor in the straight TAMING OF THE SHREW.
Isn't the 'opposites attract' meme too often an excuse for film-makers to pair a female character with a male one way below her level in physical attractiveness and positive personality points, and probably significantly older than her (Harry and Sally were supposed to be approximate contemporaries?

About Danny and Sandy from Grease, that movie really gave a bad message in the ending, you don't have to change who you are just to fit someone else's idea to get them to like you. It's like me saying to a girl Look, I'm not gonna pretend to be something I'm not just to impress you.

Aren't Pride & Prejudice & Bridget Jones' Diary essentially the same movie?
Also, at least two other movies on this list are based on much earlier works. Clueless is a retelling of Austen's Emma, & 10 Things I Hate About You is, at its core, Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew.

If you notice again the dance in Dirty Darcing of the The Time Of My Life you'll understand that they're yin and yang as Johny's clothes are totally black while Baby's are white. They illustrate that it's the opposites that attract!
