I know youd never include these as its msmojo and cators for a very specific demographic but will ramos and justin bonitz are metal vocalists who can hit whislte tone with vocal fry and other harsh vocal techniques. They are on a differsnt level to any of these singers listed but sadly they are hardly known outside of their circles due to the niche nature of the music. Nowadays harsh vocalists have more in common with opera singers than anyone else abd that really sums it up.

The whistle register is odd. Cause the reality is, it's not too hard to do. It takes time to dial it in. And tone is obviously trickier to get to sound great. It's weird cause the note that's created isn't what it feels like it would create. So it takes practice. But you can hit those notes too. Mimic a yawn, and restrict the air that's coming out. You'll find it

Oh No! No! No! Mariah and Ariana are amazing, beautiful and fabulous singers of course, but they dont hold a candle to Minnie! Go back and listen again, Minnie has a higher, almost ethereal as I like to call it, quality to it. Im not sure anyone will ever be able to duplicate or surpass it.

I forgot the artist but angel playing with my heart [might by in my heart] has the same clip as mariah careys emotions. More than likely Mariah was trying to copy it [not saying its plagiarised]. Either way didn't realise thats what it was until I saw this video.

Mariah Carey popularized the whistle so you have to give her extra credit for that. She definitely deserves the #1 spot. But Ariana and Kelly slayed as always. When Kelly did that on American Idol it was literally breathtaking I couldn't believe it!

If Mariah superceded Minnie, who I grew up listening to, surely Ariana has not. I'm not sure Mariah ever did, too. Love all three ladies but Minnie's voice fill every inch and fiber of my soul.
