Ok so I know new girl only ended in like 2018? Right. So I know they would have to wait at least maybe 10 to 15 years give or take, but does anyone else wanna see a reboot with the kids of the loft? I was thinking that Ruby would be the main character since she was pre introduced and had the most screen time, then we could have maybe not all but some of the kids of wibston and aly, and then obviously the ness child. Above that you could add cool characters, like maybe Ruth and that one girl from the daycare could be your modern day jess and cece, and maybe instead of it being ruby as the new girl they could make it like college, and they could have fun storylines of them being friends as they were older. They could really make a great reboot in the year like 2033 if they tried

Yeah Ive been keeping track of the whole bear thing for a While now and there is certainly a LOT of bear references, but there are many episodes which I have watched with a close eye multiple times and I have not seen any bears. There is a reason why this trivia fact was on the IMDB trivia page and was later removed.
Edit: Jake Johnson just revealed it is true!

I felt the Jess/Nick vibe in Episode 1 as soon as he laughed after she sang My name is Nick I have a penis and I'm not gonna let any feelings out. but knew they'd end up together after he realized she'd been texting her date, and then replying it's nice to her with a smile. It was so subtle, but still one of my favorite Nick and Jess moments.

That was a cool way to announce Otter's birth. I wondered why they added in that short section of the news. The door change is so obvious. I don't know how I never noticed it. As for the bears in every episode, I've noticed that they bring up bears a lot and in kind of random ways but never knew it was a whole thing

#8- characters on sitcom a should do this more often. Its weirder to have friends NOT laugh at each other. True friends are always laughing at each others jokes and quirks. Laughing is just part of friendship! Its also why I liked How I Met Your Mother: the characters laughed at jokes and when they were being absurd.

The otter reference reminds me of how on Frasier they wrote Jane Leeves pregnancy into the showthe first episode after Jane was on Mat leave (aka Daphne at a health spa to help with her stress eating disorder) they wrote in a joke about Daphne losing a very specific amount of weight - the size of Janes baby girl

Finally a Top 10 Things you missed that actually works. I usually hate those lists that are like, 'You never noticed Carrie wears a necklace that says Carrie on it, you dumb fcks'. Eye roll. But this list revealed some pretty cool easter eggs. A testament to New Girl's quality.

One of the many reasons I love New Girl is because they don't use an annoying laughing track or even need background music to elicit comedy or emotion. It's literally all from the actors which blows my mind.
