Maybe it's a bit convoluted, but you could do a list of the best movies that use a supernatural plot device to convey a very relatable message. It would include 13 going on 30, Shallow Hal, The groundhog day, the one with Jim Carrey owning a remote that can literally control his entire world, the one about a baby boy being born in the same moment 4 strangers die in a bus accident and they unknowingly become his guardian angels, the one with an Italo-American woman living a parallel life inside a snow ball. Sorry for the approximate summaries but I can't remember the titles translated to my own language, let alone the original ones.

These moves haven't been matched in 100 years and it doesn't get 1st place. Hellzapoppin is so much more than a dance movie, it's a historical breakthrough!
Also, where is a golden classic like Dirty Dancing? Or an unsuspected masterpiece like the dancing scene from 2012 Keira Knightley's Anna Karenina (not the most historically accurate, but what a beautifully depicted dramatic tension)

Some top picks there for sure! My honourable mention would be the Train station dance at the end of 'Slumdog Millionaire' which always makes me want to run off and sign up for the nearest Bhangra class!

What about flashdance? Actually this should include the time period. I am from the 70s and 80s, but we all know that my. parents had the best dance movies, like tap dance Gene Kelly, Fred and Ginger. etc.

Hard to believe the Blues Brothers didn't even receive a mentions. The film has so many iconic musical moments but for random dance party moments, Shake a Tail Feather stands out.
