I think Buffy/Spike would've been a better choice considering Angel wasn't even close to bad/evil throughout the duration of their relationship only becoming evil upon losing his soul again whereas with Spike he definitely could've been considered bad/evil due to him not having a soul when their relationship began. No matter which pairing you prefer, itd be a safe bet to say Spike loved Buffy more than Angel did. Sure Angel loved her and enough to give him the moment of pure contentment, but once he lost his soul again he instantly turned on Buffy and all of her friends without remorse, whereas Spike managed to fall in love with her despite not having a soul and being mortal enemies, and grew to love her so much that he willing went through immense torture to regain his soul, solely for her benefit.

To those saying angel was good and spike bad and it should have been spike, remember when they were human, angel or Liam was the layabout ladiesman and spike or William was the poet. Angel as a vampire had to deal with a bit of the human but a whole lot of the Angelus when her became angel and you know what? When buffy had to deal with angel being bad, it was intense and at the heart of it she loved and lost him. As the writers said, angel was the equivalent of once you get them the turn bad after they get what they want so yes, angel was the bad boy, guilt with a soul kept him in check

To everyone saying it should be Spike instead of Angel: If you differentiate between Angel and Angelus, then you have to differentiate between Spike seasons 2-6, and spike season 7. Fair enough if you do, but if so I think it should be noted that season 7 spike isnt really a bad boy (as pointed out by buffy herself) and that buffy had no romantic interest in season 2-6 Spike, she only used him to feel something. (Just to be clear, I absolutely love both Angel and Spike, as I believe anyone should)

I wonder why you would make Buffy and Angel your no. 1 but then watching the end of the video I realise you had to pander to the spuffy fans who you knew would show their outrage about the 'beloved' couple not having the no. 1 spot.
So I think this was pointless as you didn't have the balls just to stick to talking about your chosen top couple because it kind of is getting boring that Bangel can never been spoken about without the shadow of spuffy being mentioned in the same breath.

Really Buffy and Angel not Buffy and Spike? I'd say Buffy didn't really change through her knowing Angel, he might have changed a little bit. Where as Spike completely changes for Buffy, he get his sole back FOR HER! He brought out Buffy's more adventurous side! On a completely different note. Where's Emma and Killian (Hook?

It should have been Buffy and Spike, in my opinion (Angel was a tormented character, but not bad. As for Gilmore girls, Jess may fit the image of the bad boy, but Rory turned out to be the worst person in the show.

The irony with Jackie and Hyde is that despite their exterior, Hyde is genuinely a good guy. He's more thoughtful and loyal to his friends and is overall kind. Jackie is abrasive, insulting, and bratty.

ok 1. Phoebe Halliwell and Cole Turner
2. Sookie stackhouse and literally everyone she has ever dated
3. Michael and Maria in Roswell
i could think of more but im not here to think lmao

Klaus and Caroline off of Vampire Diaries
Jace and Clary off of Shadowhunters
Lex and Lana off of Smallville
These three were some of my favorite bad boy/good girl tv couples

So I always thought that in the ending of Gossip Girl, when Chuck says three words, eight letters he meant i love you BUT IT'S ACTUALLY BLAIR I DO OMFG THAT'S ADORABLE
reply

My favorite bad boy/girl girl duo (not necessarily a couple-regardless of what the show did to them-but definite chemistry) is Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth.
reply

bad boy bad boy whatcha gonna do when they come for you bad boy bad boy also rory and logan or with jess no wonder they went downhill with they're relationship
reply

Angel was NOT a bad boy, only Angelus who was not in a couple with Buffy. If you're going BTVS for the top pick, it should've been Spike.
reply

sawyer wasn't really the bad boy anymore when he got together with juliet, he was with kate (although she is not exactly a good girl)
reply

I had to say when they put Angel and Buffy at the top of the list i knew the comments were going to go nuts about him vs Spike
reply

What ever happened to Ryan Atwood and Taylor Townsend, or Ryan Atwood and Marissa Cooper from The o. c? They were amazing.
reply

It should have been Sookie and Eric not Bill. Bill was a Saint compared to Eric which is why Eric was more fun to watch
reply
