Fantastic idea for a video, one of the foods my mum used to make when I was ill or just not feeling well was semolina, usually with butter and raisins, sometimes with vanilla or coca powder. That's definitely one of my comfort foods to this day, though grilled cheese sandwiches and just about any cake or pie instantly comforts me too. Cold margherita pizza with coffee takes me back to a different kind of comfort, I quite often had it for breakfast as a student and I've still got a soft spot for it along with instant ramen. :D Gratin dauphinois (potato slices stacked between layers of cream, garlic and nutmeg and baked in the oven) is a fantastic comfort food too, I'm French and I think many French people will agree. Thanks for showing a clip of Julie and Julia, awesome movie! :)

I love cold pizza. Pizza that is leftover and gets cold in the fridge. My mom used to get mad at me and say I was just lazy and didn't warm it up. No ma'am, pizza is good cold after refrigerated lol. Sometimes I get fresh pizza and put it in the fridge waiting for it to get just right.

OOH Boy! So many of these entries are among my favorites! There is a restaurant called Elbows that takes Mac and cheese to crazy levels, though I haven't eaten there myself yet. For #8, I'm surprised a certain line from the Queen song one vision wasn't included just for laughs.

I never thought about it but you are absolutly right. It doesnt matter if you eat a pizza from a cheap delivery service, from a high cost restaurant, self made, frozen. It (nearly) doesn't matter which topping. Pizza is the best food of them all.

I gotta ask, am i the only person on earth who hates cheese? Grilled cheese or mac&cheese, eh no thanks, i'd rather eat pretty much anything else, definitly not comfort foods to me.

Homemade Mac n Cheese is my favorite comfort food. Sticky white rice is a close second. I agree with the garlic bread too! My favorite comfort beverage is water.

MsMojo Garlic bread and pizza: perfect combo. So is garlic bread and chicken parmesan, another great combo, along with garlic bread and spaghetti. Mmm-mmm-mmm.
