Gonna say it: though Black Panther was awesome (RIP Chadwick, it didn't have a diverse cast. There was probably only two or three white actors in the movie, the rest were all black, that's not diversity, that's overrepresentation, though because the majority of the movie takes place in mid-east Africa, i'll let it slide. On Crazy Rich Asians, apparently Brenda Song (London Tipton) auditioned and was told she isn't Asian enough. On voice-acting, we can't see the actual voice actors, and most people don't really care what the voice actors look like, so boasting about a specific racially diverse voice-acting cast is pointless, cuz the whole point of voice-acting is to make others believe your voice belongs to those characters whatever ethnicity they may be. On white-washing/black/yellow face, etc, this is not a jab at saying there are no actors of that race capable of giving a believable performance or anything like that, the whole point of being an actor is making others believe you are the character, that's why it's called make belief, if you wanna test your range as an actor, you gotta sink into a role that you consider is the complete opposite of you're own personality or identity. Sure being the same race and gender as the character is a bonus, and in most cases a requirement, but is it really a bad thing if it's just an actor trying something new and more challenging?

I suppose it could just be a random coincidence, but I had been watching a lot of MsMojo clips this week and had commented my disappointment that the examples were so seldom anything other than white, along with my hope that there could be more representation. It was very meaningful to me to see both this video and the one on BTS come out one right after another today. I'm excited to watch as new clips continue to come out. Hoping to see a lasting increase in representation. :)

Despite the differences of race, are they needed to be separated or treated special. Hell no, they deserve to walk free in our country like everybody else. And btw, I believe that the latest black men killed werent because of there race, I doubt George Floyd and Andrew brown jr were shot because theyre black. They need to know we all are both the same and different while they still deserve to roam free the way they want without any new laws or new powers for there race

first things first, rest in peace Chadwick Bosman. he made a career and a life out of exemplifying black excellence. Seconds Moonlight is the perfect film for the number one because its about one of the most underrepresented demographics in media; Black gay men. It's also just a beautiful movie.

Black Panther will always be a landmark in cinema history as Chadwick Boseman lead an all star cast in a movie that needed to be told about uniting as one as he shares Wakanda to the world instead of the shadows. It should have won Best Picture and Chad's spirit will be forgotten.

While unlikely, I'd personally like to see the MCU recast John David Washington as the Black Panther for the sequel, but have the film end with him retiring from being the Black Panther to just be King of Wakanda and have Shuri be the Black Panther in a 3rd film.

I've seen Black Panther, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (my favorite movie of all time, Hidden Figures, The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Moana (my favorite Disney musical movie, and Raya and the Last Dragon (my favorite Disney movie, with Moana being second)

Im glad that this list was a more accurate depiction of what representation really means. In society and in Hollywood youre either white or black. Thats it. No one else seems to exist. There are no Latinos. No Asians. No LGBTQ+. Its so annoying

Its a shame the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy turned out the way it did because the representation started out so well.
A black stormtrooper (who could have turned Jedi, a female Jedi, a hispanic ace pilot, an asian mechanic, etc.

Rest in peace, Chadwick Boseman. Your career was just getting started, and you played one of the most inspiring Marvel superheroes. You will be greatly missed, Wakanda Forever!

Still devastated over Chadwicks passing. There was something so special about him. I bawled like a baby when I first heard he was gone. He will always be Black Panther to me.
