Their first grammy nomination was awesome at first, especially seeing how ecstatic they were. But once we all realized that the nomination was only a nomination, and that now matter how many times they are nominated they aren't going to win because grammys are only using them to get more attention, I didn't like it anymore. So I don't really think it deserves to be number 1. What I think deserves to be number 1 is the UN Speech because around that time, they were being hated so much for the love myself campaign they had. They were even on the verge of disbanding (though I think that was cause of a contract thing I'm not sure. And they even wrote magic shop as what I think was a goodbye to ARMYs. Yet they didn't disband and are still going strong and will stay strong for as long as they want to. The UN Speech got them a lot of haters, but it also made ARMYs realize how important BTS is (and we got a great song, magic shop)

Why is BTS a phenomena? Let's count the ways.
I'm an old fart, but these youngsters have me as a fan. Why? I respect their perseverance, work ethic, and how they engage with the world. as contributors rather than contaminators. BTS gives. To their art, to their craft, to their fans, to their production crew, to organizations fighting the good fight. They add value, whether its amazing entertainment, or a stronger, serious message. They use their platform, their celebrity to add value to the world.

Cmon. Their first daesang! That's when Yoongi cried his eyes out It should have been in the top 3.
And my favorite moment is the wembly moment where Army sang young forever in Korean. That's number 1 in my opinion XD
Plus the 2018 melon awards opening should at least have been in honerable mentions. I was so blown away that time!

Even though i grew up listening to kpop. What drew me into BTS in 2014 was the fact that they reminded me of how boyband/singing groups from motown were. The way they carry themselves and respect all music and always suggest other artists and songs to ARMY during livestreams. There are plenty of artists that i probably wouldnt have heard of if BTS hadnt mentioned them during VLIVE / LIVESTREAMS lol and they still fanboy over artists even with how big they are now.

I do agree with some of the other comments that the video had a US perspective. So. increasing more acknowledgement of their extraordinary Korean highlights, acknowledgements, national/global charities and unprecedented awards from their S. Korean president would round off your project brilliantly.

Being an older ARMY, I love the moms get to meet BTS bit. Unfortunately neither of my daughters are ARMY - they like a couple of their songs but thats it. I would drag them to a concert if there was the slightest chance the bit would be repeated. And one of my daughters graduated in 2020 so really appreciate every artist who contributed to that celebration.

I strongly disagree that the grammy nom is the best moment. the grammys are an US award given by a handful US industry people to their own friends and peers. it doesn't award excellency in music but the biggest western industry plants. I take awards voted on by music experts like the KMA's or the general public like the AMAs every day over the Grammys.

The Boys From Korea have grown into fine young MEN. I know they helped me get through 2020. Thank You for compiling. It was the week with Jimmy Fallon that I was first introduced to them on tv and became a big fan. They are so talented and have so much heart that you always feel hopeful no matter what is happening in the world.

The very very first time I fell in love with BTS and became an Army since, was during their Carpool Karaoke with James Corden.
It was a bit late, but I dont care. I knew them already since that day. Can't wait for this pandemic to end and go to one of their world tour!
