Sorry Im going to have to respectfully disagree but not saying he didnt have moments I really liked him a lot in the beginning but near the end his character was very cringe. For starters he literally goes after Bernadette and Penny knowing his best friends were either dating them or in love with them. And then around the time he starts dating Lucy you start to see how cringe his character is by forcing her to do what he wants. Also the valentine party at the comic bookstore that this video mentions he makes a great speech but once he gets a date with Lucy his condescending remark Later losers undercuts the whole speech. Then with Emily and Claire how he goes back and forth between the two it made him look like a jerk, even Claire points it out in the episode the way he broke up with Emily just to go after her, dont forget the comet situation with penny he acted like an ass, then the way he meddles in everyones relationships and gets in the middle of their drama. Its just one thing after another by the end of the series he was my least liked character.

#9 is a bad example. Raj should have imitated a scene from one of Anu's favorite movies, not his own.
#4 is also an example I disagree with. The only important characters in The Adhesive Duck Deficiency were Sheldon and Penny. The side plot with the other 3 guys was boring and forgettable.
2 of the honorable mentions were from the same episode. Couldn't that have been melded into one honorable mention?
I like Raj, but he was never the best character. I consider him the 4th-best of the main ones, below Sheldon, Amy, and Leonard. And then there's several non-main characters I'd rank ahead of him, like Sheldon's mom and Leonard's mom.

it bothers me that they didn't bother giving Raj a good ending.
I mean, everyone else is either married, having babies or receiving awards.
With Raj, he did have a thing with Anu but they broke up a few episodes before the finale? I mean, it is cool he was sitting next to Sarah Michelle Gellar in the finale but its not hinting at anything.
I wish they ended with him getting engaged or finding his perfect match (he's always a romantic so he should have a romantic ending.

The problem with the Raj character is that at some point in the series the writers didn't simply know what to do with him they had no idea where to lead him to. That was after he and Stuart worked as nannies for Bernadette and Howard. They had no problem fixing Stuart with a girlfriend to close his arc but for some reason they couldn't bring themselves to do the same with Raj. In the end they just left him as a floater.

My favourite theory about Raj is this:
In Young Sheldon, Sheldon says that Missy ended up having 4 children but by the time TBBT ended, she had just 2. I want to think that later, Raj and Missy ended up together and the last two were Raj and Missy's kids. It's possible coz Missy found Raj cute in season 1

Raj was the worst cringiest character on the show & it was infuriating to watch his character development go in reverse instead of forward. It doesnt seem possible for someone to be as pathetic & as socially unaware as him & this show has Sheldon cooper on it

It was a pretty big accomplishment when he got recognized by a famous magazine brand but it was because he kept bragging about it throughout the episode his friends decided not to go to the party if Penny would have known about that she wouldnt have gone either
