By far the worst social issue episode is My Left & Right Foot were focus on foot growth, where Michelle becomes paranoid about her feet growing after DJ, Kimmy & Stephanie teases her at the mall. Considering Michelle isn't too young, she's definitely old enough to know better, considering all the other issues they tackle in the past, this is just a minor one for them to overcome & lastly considering that this episode took place so late in the show and so close to the series finale, it gives you the feeling that there were so many other issues for them to a-tackle other than paranoia about feet growth.

The episode that really hit me hardwas when the grandpa diedsince I was watching reruns of this show having been born in 2001the episode hit me hard as it was watching it after I lost my Grammy my mom's mombut now I kind of relate to Stephane some especially when being worried about her dad since I had to go through erma and my dad was busy working and I was scared. Since someone died heading into work that he worked with and the place wasnt far from home but it still hurt and scared me. Plus having gone through hurricane Ian recently really shocked me. Just those two things really hit home with me.

Heres another one: bullying.
Stephanie and Gia did not start out as friends by any stretch, and it got to the point where Gia was spreading nasty rumors about Steph that had the entire school laughing at her.
Steph responded by publicizing Gias less-than-stellar report card, only to see the dejected look on Gias face that made her realized she crossed the line and this wasnt good for anyone.
The two of them would sit down and talk, burying the hatchet and becoming good friends.

I feel like white sitcoms are so loose? Like the moral of the story of the DJ in Steves apartment episode is that Danny should trust his high school aged daughter to make good decisions alone in a room with a college guy. Thats pretty wild and frankly as a teen myself, I understand why he was hesitant to let her go in the first place. Then when he does let her go, shes hours late and doesnt answer the phone.

I like with all these sick homes tackled serious situations they didn't play a laugh track they didn't go there like they would today where do you know for a fact if a sick home tried to act serious serious they would Have to have one of the Characters do something for the laughs especially if it was family guy really appreciate how old how old sitcoms Tackle the serious issues and made it actually serious

The scene with Charles really gets me every time. It's a hard topic to bring up and I hard topic to deal with. Finding out a classmate of yours is getting abused at home is rough, and you feel guilty for not saying anything but also feel the same guilt when you tell someone, like you broke their trust. I like how they handled it a bit, sad we don't know what happens afterwards tho: /

I always loved the storyline about life's lessons and how child rearing in this day and age can be challenging at best. It's nice to know how much these children are ideal examples of golden children who know how to appreciate what they have at the end of the day - not make their parents feel that parenting is a thankless job.

I was the same age as Stephanie during this show. I lost my dad when I was young, and was the only person I knew that was missing a parent. Thats tough on a kid, and grows you up quickly. Not gonna lie, the men and story lines in this show actually helped me out as a kid.

I had similar issue as Stephanie. Being adopted I was terrified. It could still be taken away by a car accident. I was three & told to get over it. Until I could get a job, was when I calmed down, bc than survival was easier.

Honestly I get this a lot more after losing my dad. Everything changes; holidays, social stuff, and having to refer to them in the past tense. Shit hurts, especially when you don't know anyone else that only has 1 parent.

Full house was a wonderful coming of age show for the whole family. It was funny at times it also had real life situations every kid and family has to deal with. It was iconic. My favorite characters were Danny and DJ.

I wish we had heard more about what happened to Stephanie's friend and his abusive father. Even if it didn't happen in the original full house if he had came back like as an adult in fuller house

I'm clearly showing shows like these to my kids if I have some one day. Quite a shame that Hollywood try too hard to show life lessons or other things when they had it right in the late 80s, 90s

I loved how they addressed issues like that at hand and in an appropriate nonjudgemental way. Unfortunately, life's not like that. It would be a much better world if it was.
