What's scary for me is that I used to date a girl that lived in a fantasy world similar to Anna's. A soothing hidden blend of haughty narcissistic and superficial. Commanding lies and manipulation rolled off her tongue with ease and naturality. Years after the relationship ended I was still finding out lies she told back then. Sent shivers up my spine. These people are very scary master manipulators. These people see nothing wrong with what they do and laugh at the damage in their wake. Do we ever really know a person or are we just caught up in their fantasy world? Always question and verify what's not understood. If it doesn't feel right or square up your gut knows best, go with it. Once it starts get out. RUN! Don't question them on it because they'll turn it around onto you using gaslighting. Get out is the only resolve.

Anna is definitely sociopathic, but I do recognize the work she put in to get her art club going, she definitely had more drive than most 22/23 year olds. Also, you don't need to glorify her to recognize that Rachel was a grade A opportunist and freeloader during their friendship. Happy to ride the ride while it was free, then got salty when---after TWO YEARS, had to pay for something. They're both opportunists, but at least Anna is not crying the victim. Oh and as it turns out, Rachel's debt was written off by American Express and she's made TWICE as much money than Anna from the aftermath.

Sure, there are a LOT of people that made millions by just a dream when they had no money to back it. But they were confident on the return.
This girl was blatantly deceitful; she lied and stole. She is a user She took advantage of people, including her friends. When up against a wall, she uses insults. if what the movie portrayed is true.

Rachea is an opportunistic, she shouldnt be in interviews she took advantage with thousands of dollars out of anna fame and everything that happen to her she got it comming because she is a person that only believes in high class people, and by the way she recovered the money by Mastercard and she enjoyed all the same benefits of Anna while she had money so for me she enjoyed and perhaps the 62, 000 she used it with anna with all the parties, clothing etc that she received from anna, she is the least I feels sorry for well to be honest no sorry at all

Davis is a narcissistic immoral film industry wannabe, with the shared values and views as sorokin, her works would surely suck for there is no purity of the heart and soul put into any of her works. As for spodek, there are criminal attorneys who tries to protect the wrongfully accused and those who infracted the law under peculiar circumstances and may not deserve harsher punishments; then there are slimy criminal lawyers like spodek.

There is one thing People like Anna are gifted with: The art to play around with people mind by reading it. Well it can be fun and interesting but it aint good if you use it in evil ways. I too conquer with her on the saying that fake it until you make it! I was spot on when Lying but now I could get away with faking without detection and we all deploy this in our daily life. The casting for Rachels part is so strange. The actress is very pretty, much like the real Rachel, they even resemble each other a bit. The only strange thing is the show makes her appear about 10-15 years OLDER than she is, and a bit more pathetic (which could be true. Otherwise the casting was phenomenal. Billie Lourde may have made a good Anna as well, but Julia did an fantastic job.

I can't imagine why they picked on Rachel so much in that movie. Had they been stranded in Morocco and put in jail, it might have taken the State Department to get them out.
