These romance movies totally should've won Oscars. For this list, well be looking at films with romantic elements that deserved an Oscar win, but failed to nab any. Our countdown includes Rushmore, Weekend, Bringing Up Baby, and more! Which romance movie do YOU think should've won an Oscar?

500 Days of Summer was a great movie. It was about a hopeless romantic loser who got what he deserved. He projected all his career expectations on the architect profession without doing his research on the reality of the job market. He was watching too many romance movies when he should have been studying. He had expectations of a job but the reality was a lot of effort to put up a portfolio and CV just to compete with a lot of other people for one job and only a few hiring firms.

Adam Sandler delivered his best performance in Punch Drunk Love but the romance was the least interesting part of the movie. The extortion scam, the pudding points program he took advantage of, and his mental issues are more interesting. It made no sense for the girl to fall in love with him.

500 Days of Summer is the most realistic romance movie for me. I liked how Tom gradually comes to realize that Summer is her own person, and not his personal Manic Pixie Dream Girl. He gets on with his life, and sincerely hopes that she's happy at the end.

I think that Twilight should of won the Oscar it is the best movie ever a vampire and human relationship is always the best relationship ever then the human gets turns into a vampire at the last movie

Adam Sandler's more serious roles/movies usually get praise. And yet, he is determined to continue with comedy. Although some are beloved by some, those are usually his older roles.

Singin' in the Rain is undoubtably the Greatest Musical EVER MADE! It should have recieved at least 10 Oscar nominations including Best Score, Best Actor and Best Picture.

Singing in the Rain my all time favorite movie. I cannot be in a bad mood while watching it and it always lifts my spirits.

Im sorry but this is a bad list! Where is moulin rouge? Blue valentine? Youve got mail? The reader? These films are underrated

Which Oscar category would crazy rich Asians even win in? Let alone be nominated for? Look at the noms for that year.

Adam Sandler's films vary a great deal. Some are good, but Jack & Jill is one of the worst films of all time.

Considering what a silly, wokey farce the Oscars have become, it is a badge of honor NOT to be nominated.
