I think the raccoon one that recently came out as the opener to Encanto is was really important. Breaking generational cycles is such an important topic, and it made me cry when I first watched it. I think that short meant a lot to people, especially to teens today. Ive talked to a lot of people my age who said that this short was especially impactful. It was the perfect short to go before Encanto, as it also focuses so much on generational trauma

The Blue Umbrella is my favorite Pixar short of all time. The character design is so simple and cute, the rain and the city looks so beautiful, the story is very simple and sweet, it's super atmospheric, and the score is just lovely. The score is my favorite thing about it, it's just so good. I watch it every so often when I'm feeling down or when it's a rainy day because it's just so good. I love it so much.

We see every Pixar film that is released and prefer to see them in the theater, so we saw all of these and we also own the Pixar Shorts collection on DVD. The Blue Umbrella is my all time favorite. I have been sad that they have sent recent Pixar releases straight to streaming. I miss the experience of going to a new Pixar movie, complete with new short, in the cinema.

Come on why everyone dislike the Baby from Pixar Oscar-Winning animated short Tin Toy? Maybe they judge the early computer animation till Pixar has got better with the animation times gone by.
Well my favorite short is definitely Tin Toy, because without it we could not have Toy Story.

To date, Lava is the only short that has made me cry. When it first started playing I rolled my eyes because I was excited for Inside Out. Little did I know that it was just the warm up my eyes were going to work through that day. Loved both Lava and Inside Out.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'm meh on Lava. I've never been fond of Hawaiian music & the I Lava You pun is corny. I'm usually a classic movie crier but this one did nothing for me. I totally support Day & Night for #1, but I would move Piper, Bao and Presto up.

Interesting to note that the voice actors of the two volcanoes in the short Lava knew each other since they were little. They had no idea they would reunite as adults because they were auditioning separately for this short without knowing of it.
