Oh dear god, please don't do more origin stories. I don't want more of my favorite movies destroyed. Midichlorian's scientific explanation. C3PO wasn't made in a factory--no, he was a Heathkit project made by a child. Han Solo was supposed to be eaten by Chewbacca. In Monsters Inc, Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan didn't meet for the first time in college. and here here we have an origin story. A back story on Edna could kill my love of her. Boba Fett's character has been thoroughly explored and now people don't see him as the hard riding semi immoral bounty hunter--he's now a wimp. I don't want an semi immoral character babysitting my children. And I want the world to undo what was done to the Tasmanian Devil. Taz was a bad-ass predator. He wasn't raised in a nursery and sent to a chaise lounge psychiatrist. Honestly, Taz is like any other predator. He hunts, scavenges and kills without remorse. That's what nature is about. Disney doesn't do predators. The Lion King wasn't true in any way to lions or any other animals. The lion with the darkest mane amongst lions is the most attractive. Herbivores don't bow down to those who want to hunt and kill them. I don't need to have prequels spoon fed to me. Give me a little imagination and my imagination creates the rest. That means they need to make a prequel that's better than my imagination. To quote Yoda, That is why you fail.

To see more Adventures and Time Travels. They should make an episode where the entire Time Squad Organization find found that Tuddrussel and Larry have illegally adopted Otto from the past.

I CAN'T believe NOTHING was mentioned about the Radiator Springs townsfolk. Not ONE? We kind of already got Sally's backstory in the first Cars, but we all would love to learn about how every resident got there and decided to call Radiator Springs home. I especially would love an entire movie on Doc growing up into racing, then being cast out by the racing world and disappearing to Radiator Springs, and then having him settle in and build relationships with the townsfolk; Sheriff, Flo & Ramone, Mater, and all the way down to Sally; so pretty much before Lightning shows up.

Coco creeped me out so no! Hectors story is tragic enough
Id rather have Hopper over the Circus Bugs
Same with Charles Muntz Id rather Dug gets an origins film

Big Hero 6 is WDAS and Marvel (more the former than the latter, really. It's not Pixar. Also, we got his backstory in the series. His parents were rival superheroes (his mother more an anti-hero) who fell in love and now have to deal with an outdated Gen X supervillain who keeps calling the Quaranteens Millennials. Well, okay, only Hiro's a Quaranteen, but his friends are still his generation. Fred's mother wanted to protect him from the superhero lifestyle, while his father wanted Fred to choose it for himself. Dad won.

While all of the characters are great, I feel like having an origin story for most of them would actually undercut their magic, especially with characters like Muntz whose story we already know. The problem with a lot of prequels (which is what an origin story would be for an already established character) is that they also dont typically add a whole lot in terms of narrative. I could see a lot of these being effective shorts, but not feature length productions.

My personal pick: (Note: Big Hero 6 isn't Pixar and some of these aren't characters more like unexplained/unseen past events)
1. WALL-E: how the earth got so polluted and BNL's global domination
2. The Incredibles: the golden age of supers before they were outlawed
3. Cars: either Doc Hudson's racing career or how cars became the dominant species on earth (the second one is very unlikely, I'm just curious lol)

I think that all of the main characters in The Incredibles franchise should have an origin story. It would be so epic to see how they became superheroes, and might give fans insight on the lore of the series.
Also; Alberto Scorfano from Luca really deserves an origin story, especially since fans want to know why his father left him at such a young age.

With the way PIXAR did Buzz Lightyear as a movie within a movie universe, I could see the same happening for Woody and Jessie, where they're the protagonists of a gritty Western film from the early 1940s before being spun off into a children's show that got canceled before the final episode because of the Sputnik launch in 1957.

We definitely still could do with some series of maybe even a film that continues from the mid or end credit scene containing The Tank Gang in plastic bags floating on the ocean within Finding Dory which could even become a spin-off if it either gets made and still could return other familiar characters from the Finding Nemo film series.

Frozone is definitely worthy of an origin movie set back in the golden era of heroes. and villains. Even a throwaway villain like the Underminer was hilarious, and apparently Frozone once had a nemesis named Baron Von Ruthless who was prone to monologuing. You can even do a twofer and include young Edna Mode.
