Is is teased and implied that the miracle itself is in fact Mirabel. that's why she dont receive a door, because she have the gift inside of her all the time, she was destined to unite the family, to heal the time wounds about their issues, that's why the casita always respond to her (primarily to her) after Abuela Alma's future demise is Mirabel who will take over as protector of the magical candle and the Family Madrigal, her journey was of rediscovery herself, understanding her unconditional love for her family, Loyalty and faith, dedication and that's why casita wait until she return empowered by her family unity, that's when finally after understanding not only her(Mirabel) all of the family members too(that she is the miracle) that casita reveal it much to the madrigal's emotional awakening, that's the reason why Mirabel at the end of Encanto have a door for herself as protector and future leader of them, The Miracle is you girl all the time! Most people seem to miss that Pepa's dress is completely covered in weather designs. Everyone notices her sun earrings, but they usually stop there. If you actually look you can see a lot more. The top of her collar has little suns around it. Then she has two poofy collars. The first collar is a sun. The second collar has large upside-down raindrops around it. The main part of her dress is polka dotted with small raindrops. The orange band around the bottom of the skirt is embroidered with Snowflakes. Finally at the bottom of the skirt are lacy embroidered holes in the shape of lightning bolts and raindrops. Even her wedding Dress still has the snowflake band and the lightning bolt and raindrop lace at the bottom. Everyone else has something in their clothes that accents their gift, but I feel like Pepa has the most, and it's noticed the least.

did you also notice on all of the mardigal kids have there picture on there door and if you look closely, camilio's door has a picture of him when he first got his door, but all the other kids doors are exactally there same age.
Also did you notice when mirabel touches the candel in the beggining, she whipes her hands on her dress cause she was nervous. That is probbably why mirabel did not get a gift.

The glasses one also made me realize something new! The frames of Mirabel's glasses are a similar sort of green to Bruno's eyes when he uses his powers and symbolically could represent said powers. I've yet to see any representation of Bruno on Mirabel's dress, unlike her other family members, so I think the green frames are a neat little detail.

i have a theory about why mirabel didnt get powers the candle gives them the miracle and the miracle gives them their powers thats why every kid before they go up to the door they touch the candle. so when it shows mirabel getting her door you can see that she wiped her hands on her dress so i think that she wiped all the power from the candle that was on her hands on the dress!

Also, the opposite rooms of Mirabel and Abuela might also show why Mirabel doesnt have a power. This might be because, Mirabel might be the new holder of the candle. But at the end of the movie the candle melts but the rest of the families powers are still working. So she might not be the new holder of the candle but might be in charge of the family when Abuela dies.

I noticed something else:
Isabela is Julieta and Augustins oldest child. Luisa is the middle child. Mirabel is the youngest. They based Luisa and Mirabels names off of Isabela. The Isa in Luisa matches up with the Isa in Isabela and the Bel in Mirabel matches up the with the Bel in Isabela. Thats so clever of Disney.

Early in the movie, I was thinking that Mirabels gift is actually crafting but in real life they are not valued that is why it is not considered as gift of Mirabel. Just an idea because I like to draw but for other people artist is not a real profession.

There is an easter egg from Turning Red in Encanto-Ahem!
The red panda could be a reference to Mei Lee's red panda. Also Turning Red is Encanto's successor so if se know that pixar and Disney Like to tease the next movie thus could be it.

I was all for this video til you said it played homage to frozen. Encanto has surpassed that movie in every way and Bruno was definitely referring to the different types of weather Pepa can control - realistically he mentioned the seasons.

One thing that most people miss in Encanto is the artwork on the box that Mirabel gives to Antonio just before his Magical Gift ceremony. If you notice the artwork and the Jaguar toy are all representative of Antonio's Magical Gift.

Miracle does have a gift. She's the new Keeper of the Candle, just as Abuela was before her. She bonds the whole family together. I just hope Casita's new upgrade contains a nicer room for Mirabel, tho.
