I never loved the origin of the hot beverage. Paige should have been punished for shoplifting and hiding it in Sheldon's backpack, no matter what she was going through. Kids need to be taught that what you're going through doesn't give you an excuse to act however you want.
George wasn't specifically proud of the hot beverage. His co-worker told him to tell his kids that he is proud of them.
I wish we'd seen more of the music teacher that discovered Sheldon's perfect pitch. She only appears in 2 episodes.

Its a little bit disturbing that:
-The actress who played Sheldons Meemaw in TBBT is the same as the lady helped by Georgie with errands and so on in YS;
-The actor who played the bully who tormented Leonard in TBBT is the same as the Sheldons father in YS;
-The actor who played Amys father in TBBT is the same as who played the pus in YS.
I think other actors played two characters in both series, but at moment I dont recall them.

I dont think theyll show George seniors death on show, its going into its 7th season now and Sheldon is still only 11/12, he usually ages a year every 2/3 seasons and ngl I dont think the show will make it that long, even if it does show it, the show will die when he does it aint like the walking dead where it can live on without main characters. Hes the moral compass without him itll be bland

when sheldon and his father go to visit the campus at cal tec. they stop off at the staff canteen and sheldon remarks about how many great intellectual conversations will be had in this room. i got quite emotional, and my little girl asked why, so i had to tell her thats the table where he sits at with all his friends in the big bang theory, she then went ohhhhhhhhhhhh lol

There's an Easter egg with in an Easter egg. The #1 picked episode with Sheldon's dad talking to the nurse. That nurse is played by Vernee Johnson. Everytime the Big Bang characters had to go to the hospital she always played the nurse, including the pilot episode.

I did not watch BBT, but recently started binge watching Young Sheldon. Once I complete season six I'm going to start BBT. I think this will be the best way to get into the show about the older Sheldon since I have seen what formed the older Sheldon of BBT.

This is not in young sheldon but, in the episodes of Big Bang theory when we see Will Wheatons house, in the back there is a poster for the flying Grayson's and if you don't know, Warner Bros owns TBBT and DC, and it's just fun to think about.

The nurse who checks on George Sr. was actually played by Vernee Watson who played the nurse Althea Davis the nurse in the Pilot, the nurse who sees Howard when he eats the granola bar, and the nurse who helps deliver Bernadette's baby.
