My Favorite Best Disney movies ever

I prefer Elsa in the second, but I agree that Cinderellas is not only magical but iconic. Also, I love Isabelas transformation. She reminds me so much of my sister who, although the middle child, was forced into perfection. Honestly, she even looks like my sister. It is so uncanny. And hopefully, someday, my sister breaks that shell of having to be perfect and mature all the time. I think shes already getting there (around the same age as Isa too like )

Some honorable mentions: Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet (when he gets a haircut and a white naval uniform at the end, Beast from Beauty and the Beast (by far Disney's most magical transformation scene, Ariel from The Little Mermaid (after she's turned into a human twice, and Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon 2 (after he's revealed to have transformed from the scrawny teen in the first film to a handsome young adult)

Cinderella and Isabella have the best makeovers on this list. Two equally beautiful Disney movies from different generations. Rapunzel on the other hand i prefer her as a blonde. After seeing the Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure series, I can't look at her hair turning brunette from the same perspective again. Because Rapunzel having the Sundrop's power has caused enough problems to last her and us the fans a lifetime.

Honestly I think Elsa's makeover in Frozen II is one of the best ones, because it transforms her dress into a more beautiful caped gown but also lets her hair down completely, showing that she has completely accepted who she is and is relaxed about it. Also it's the moment when she and her mother sing: Show yourself, stepping into the power/Grow yourself, into something new so is totally symbolic

Some other great transformations Tiana and naveen's wedding outfits when they transform back into humans especially Tiana's dress someone in the comments mentioned kenai transformation into a bear from brother Bear and I wonder how many people are going to know this one Odette transformation into a swan and back the swan princess

Interestingly, the colored powders thrown about by Isabela are actually reminiscent of the colored powders thrown at Hindu rituals called Dol Purnima or the Holi festival. Colored powders are thrown in the air. People wear white so that the colors will land on them and decorate their clothes.

The thing is, I always loved Isa's beautiful lilac dress! Isa is my favourite character in Encanto because I see a lot of my own situation in her, and her original dress I instantly thought was gorgeous, but I do adore lilac! I even have Disneybounded as Isa!

Lets not forget my own honorable mentions of animated movie makeovers.
Sam Sparks - Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs - Ponytail and Glasses
Linda Gunderson and Tulio Monteiro - Rio - Macaw Costumes of Carnival
Lenny - Shark Tale - Dolphin Look

Tiana and Naveen's frog-to-human marriage kiss transformation should definitely have been included. That's perhaps the most beautifully animated transformation sequence I've ever seen, all soft and green and then bathed in glorious warm golden light.

Love that Donkey says that he can count now that hes a horse, like he couldnt do that in his donkey form.
Also, Isabellas outfit at the end of Encanto looks so cool, like a galaxy exploded on her dress.

the vid was good, but it HAD to be annoying to have to read the persons name 3 times in a row when reading out this best makeovers video, example: saying cinderella [3 TIMES], rant done.
reply

I much prefer Elsa's makeover in Frozen 2, not just because of the outfit, but, because she finally lets her hair all the way down, meaning (to me) that she now completely free.

If I were you guys, I'd replace Elsa with Jim Hawkins at the end of Treasure Planet, when he returns home from the Royal Naval Academy to the newly-rebuilt BennBow Inn.

Donkey getting all excited that hes now a Stallion is oddly wholesome.

I don't like all of the characters on that list, but for the one I do like, It doesn't matter to me how they look.
