I saw her on Family Feud. Her team lost because she was the biggest idiot I have ever seen on the show. It made me so mad that 4 smart people suffered because of 1 idiot. The worst part was that one of them was Soleil Moon Frye. She was Roxie on Sabrina the Teenage Witch. So I wanted her to win, but Keke made sure that wouldn't happen

They were NOT wrong about colorism. Thats real, and that does pay a massive factor in Hollywood (and in deciding attractiveness. However, I DO get where Keke was coming from in her response. If unambiguously black women, especially in media, acknowledge colorism, they get accused of being jealous, so Kekes response was classy and smart.

Let's get this straight. Keke's breakout role was Akela and the Bee. She was PHENOMENAL acting with the Legendary L. Fishburne and Angela Bassett. A STAR WAS BORN with this movie. Her STAR QUALITY and STAR POWER leaped off of the movie screen. Now at 28 Keke is a POWERHOUSE and dare I say it. She has achieved LEGEND status. Period.

I hate how people tried to make it seem like Keke is underrated compared to Zendaya and shes actually not. At least not to me. I know who Keke was for years before I ever knew who Zendaya was. Keke is in a whole different category and you just cant compare them to each other.

I have always loved Keke palmer since I ws young kid. for some reason many years ago when I saw her movie in acting in spelling bee. years later on nickelodeon. I always sense she was girl with integrity and strong, cool personality

Glad she's finally being recognized. I've been a fan for a while BC she's such a down to earth actress. She plays each role like an real person and not a writen character. Happy for her. Hope she only keeps doing better

She's right she's to unique to be compared to anyone. She is a queen in her own right. I love she doesn't tear down women to raise herself up she is to good for that like a real queen. I'm ready for president Palmer.

Keke is a BLACK woman not a poc, not a dark skinned woman. A black woman we need to reclaim our label and not create all this weird other labels because biracials and non-blacks are parading themselves as black.

Great story! Love Keke since I first saw her in Akilah and The Bee BTW, based upon Keke listing her amazing accomplishments(the Zandaya story) you are incorrect saying she was a rising star in 2019IJS

She's been doing this for 20 years and at 12 made more money than both her parents. Millionaire at 12 or 13 she stays working so I don't get folks saying she is a raisins start she's a start already.

Keke was my first celebrity crush as a kid. When i watched Akeelah and the Bee. I honestly forgot that for a long time, until I've been seeing her recently and it's coming back again.

I found out about her when she sang in Riot Games' LoL music: Giants. After that I searched a bit about her and heard nothing but good things and I hope more power comes to her.
reply

Keke is super talented and deserves all the praise followed her ever since Akeelah and The bee. The movie Nope was very well done hope to see her in more sci-fi roles.

They dont call her KeKe Keep a Job Palmer for nothing. She is the most versatile entertainer in the industry. Oh, look who played her mom in her first leading role?
reply

Hatred towards my people is real. Everytime u have a black Cinderella for some reason they cant pair them with black men! Black royal couple. My poor black men!
reply

Her acting as Akeelah Loved her from that point on And about the national anthem She never tried to do more than shes capable of singing. She was amazing
reply

It's astonishing how dumb, deaf, and blind everyone in the media is. Literally no one cares about the color of your skin. Only you do. Let that sink in.

I think that being the MVP of Grease Live should have at least been an honorable mention. Her solo number was a highlight of the show!
reply

she was a really bad judge on Legendary S3, she didnt knew anything about it tbh. they could of keep Megan Thee Stallion till S3.
reply
