Was Lola supposed to be a Betta Fish? If that's the case, it kind of foreshadowed she'd be a femme fatale. I didn't learn the meaning of their alternate name The Siamese fighting fish until my mother put them in a tank with molly fish and gold fish. Only the Betta was left standing in that tank. Beautiful creatures, but vicious.

How were two Prince of Egypt songs lumped into one spot on this list when the Fairy Godmother's songs were listed separately? Also. so the only good DreamWorks villain songs are the ones from Prince of Egypt, and Holding Out for a Hero, the latter of which is a cover of a preexisting song.

when I watched the prince of egypt as a kid, I heard the song in german and I absolutely loved the song and the terror with it. and I just gotta say that to me, german is always my go to language when it comes to songs I know in disney films/movies.

When I first saw this video. Why is it on MsMojo and not WatchMojo? Why is it on Dreamworks villains songs when Dreamworks doesnt usually make musicals? Why is the girl from Sharktale on the thumbnail? She is not a villain or a well-known character

I feel like I very likely watched some of these films, like most of the Shrek-films and Shark tale etc.
And I never thought about whose the villains.
The only villain I really recall from Shrek is Lord Farquaad and his minion Thelonious

Y'all could've saved yourselves a lot of time and backpedaling by just saying no background/nondiegetic songs instead of banning instrumentals and spending half your commentary justifying the instrumentals you still included. Just sayin'.

Charmings song may sour in comparison to Holding Out For a Hero, but I agree that its a so bad, its actually good song! Rupert Everetts vocals are hysterical and Shreks snarky comments are savage, af!
reply

Nah Plagues should have been number one. Holding out for a hero is awesome don't get me wrong but the chill, visuals, and the music behind Plagues is much more moving. But that's just my opinion

Dave is my favorite villain I love all the Madagascar movies especially the Penguins of Madagascar my school is even doing a play on Madagascar im hoping for Mellman or one of the Penguins
reply

As much as i love the Holding Out For A Hero cover from Shrek 2, the one thing that annoys me is that Fairy Godmother says C minor, put in C minor, and the song begins to play in G minor.
reply

My favorite DreamWorks villain is lore Farquhar, because: he tries to do anything to be king even if it means how evil he is &/or the amount of people who hate him.
reply

Is the Plagues really a villain song? As much as I love the Prince of Egypt, I don't think that song belongs in this category. But Playing with the Big Boys would.
reply

I haven't seen the Prince of Egypt in a while but I have the DVD so know I have this sudden urge to watch it again (Now I want to watch all the Shrek movies as well)
reply

Im sorry but TAP DANCE BREAK? Its Irish Dancing (For those who are smart and remember what its called good job but I cant remember what its actually called)
reply

Idk why the prince of egypt is G I think it should be PG, its actually quite brutal, but it was the Old Testament and, it was way more brutal than the new one.
reply

Its too bad no one remembers the DreamWorks villains songs as much the Disney villains songs. Another sign that shows how underrated DreamWorks truly is.
reply

My favorite villain song is holding out for a hero I play all the time and annoy my friends Shrek two was an amazing movie and all the songs were amazing to
reply

I don't know if I'm being the only one. But that song I need a hero from Shrek and then the friendly giant cookie falling in the water was pretty traumatic
reply

My two favourites were always Lola from Shark Tale and Fair God Mother's singing from Shrek 2 (which is my favourite of the Shrek movies)
reply

Playing With The Big Boys Now wasnt good enough for an actual spot on this list, but both shark tale and shrek the third were? Okay.

Love Gold Diggers lyrics: Shes dangerous, super bad, better watch out shell take your cash shes a gold digger, shes a gold digger

I wish the hunchback of notre dame was a dream works movie because I totally think hellfire would have been on this list if it was

He is Dave is the Pixar villain theme that reminds me the most of Michael Bubles feeling good as a villain song
