In response to the last comment in the Bambi Complex section: Legal and licensed hunting is an important part of a modern ecosystems survival.
I concede that its clearly not for everybody, and thats totally ok. But without regulating, prey species become over populated; dangerously damaging plant life.
And although it seems counterintuitive, hunters are also stopping wildlife from dying in gruesome and inhumane ways. Keeping a managed population of species keeps wildlife from dying due to starvation, disease, and vehicle collisions.
Not to mention that any moral hunter either eats the meat that theyve hunted, or donates it to populations in need. So theres a clear social upside to it as well.

I loved Bambi and I still do no matter what sad things happened in it because it inspired me to write my own Titanic Story about these two ten year old cousins who sailed on the Titanic and Survived the nightmare of the shipwreck with their own courage and witts and their broken friendship but with great cost obviously meaning their from their parents and older siblings did not survive and the sinking of the Titanic brings the two cousins relationship more closer.

I feel that a few of these might have been mentioned in previous videos.
An American Tail is one of my favorite movies that is not made by Disney. Did not pick up on the fact that it was anti semitic when I was a kid.
In Wizard Of Oz they also used asbestos in the scene where it it snows in the poppy field scene. They did the same thing for the snow in White Christmas.

An American Tail came out when I was 8. I didn't understand why the mice and their human counterparts were being attacked in their homes, but it upset me because it seemed so random to me. They hadn't done anything wrong! I asked my dad why this was happening and that's when I was introduced to the concept of antisemitism, as well as discrimination, in general.

I can see a list for children movies for both before 2000 and after 2000 that have facts that would ruin childhoods. Especially when the kids later learn the biology in Finding Nemo and what would actually happened between those two clown fishes when such a scenario occurs.

The Neverending Story has several traumatic moments, as the theme is largely Bastien's depression after his mother's death being told in fantasy. I think Rockbiter choosing to die by the Nothing is probably the most unsettling part of movie.

I actually am not mad about this video like I thought I would be, it was actually nice facts about it instead of life-breaking scenes. Well at least I knew chocolate river by look did not look the same like it would in real life

I liked Wal E. I don't care how you twist it around. You destroy everything and think what you are doing is wonderful. What do you do in your spare time stand on a corner and tell kids theres no Santa Claus?
reply

I always noticed the mother issues. When youre a child who loses your mother young. you notice it anywhere its occurring, as well as how often its used in pop culture; not just Disney movies.

Happy Thanksgiving to Everybody and to you Ms. Mojo. Btw As Always Great Vid. Can't Believe I Forgot about The Classic. The Fox and the Hound. Truly is Sad. A Friendship that had to End.

It's confirmed that the dust in The Lion King is, in fact, SFX. You can tell that bottom line was one of the random wisps around the acronym, and does not even attach to the F.
reply

The snow in the video's opening was actually asbestos, a carcinogen that is extremely limited in the US and has already been banned completely elsewhere, such as in the EU.
reply

Well, Walt Disney never put Mothers in his movies because his mother died from Carbon Monoxide poisoning due to a gas leak in the house that caused a fire in 1938-1939

I grew up in Idaho where my uncle would fill a big freezer on our back porch with venison every fall that would last us until spring. So, no Bambi complex for me.

Happy thanksgiving btw my favorite fact that was not on the list was the Aladdin seen in the seen where Aladdin says all good boys and girls take of your clothes

you really want to ruin childhood innocence or at least imagination don't seem that way but home alone 101 dalmatians or even peter pan seriously just wrong

I still remember reading about the real life Nimh lab, and from what i understand is that it's still a fully operational institution to this very day.

Oh thank God Rebecca narrated this one. Glad to hear her voice. I'm not saying Rebecca is best at narrating or anything but at least she's good.
reply

I absolutely WALL-E. There's so many significant lessons to keep in mind after watching that movie. It's just so thought-provoking in many ways.
reply

First, the chocolate river not being chocolate I already figured out because it looked more water any way. And second, what's semitism?
reply

My favorite movie as a kid that I still like today was a difficult choice for me but if I have to pick it'd be Wall-E and The Lion King.
reply

The fact I watched all these and can understand everything makes sense now is wild no wonder we are emotionally unstable adults
