Im surprised Pacificas abusive parents didnt even come up as an honourable mention, I know they dont delve very far into it, but Pacifica was definitely classic conditioned into listening to that bell, the way she literally freezes when Preston rings the bell makes it very clear that shell receive a very severe punishment if she doesnt listen.
Edit: I forgot to mention Stan and Ford's parents as well, they show blatant favouritism between their two sons, they care more about money then their own kids, as proven by the fact that they only care about Ford's success because they can make money off it, oh, and did I mention THEY THREW THEIR EIGHTEEN YEAR OLD SON OUT TO STRUGGLE ON HIS OWN FOR YEARS! So abusive parents in general could've been an honourable mention.

Samantha, have you ever thought of getting a job on Audible reading books for children, because you have the most soothing voice THAT I'VE EVER HEARD. My favorite line in this video is definitely, (3: 52) Embracing who we are may not impress puppet obsessed boys, but it can prevent an evil being from possessing our brotha.
In most instances it would be a corny joke, but your delivery makes it sound so earnest & sweet.

Honestly I do wish that Mabel saying no to Gideon on episode 04 can be in the list. Like it is such a great lesson to girls and for boys too, that its okay to say no, and that saying no is something thats necessary, and that having someone else do it for you will make things worse. It might not feel great saying no but its important to make it clear

Soos hating his birthday because of his absent dad was so sad since he took something thats supposed to be joyful and made it a constant reminder of that pain. Im so glad that he was able to overcome it because Mabel and Dipper showed him he has real loving people in his life that are actually worth his time.

The thing that got me the most was Weirdmageddon 3, when Ford had to destroy Stan's memory to defeat Bill. I think what hit hard at that was the themes of self worth and purpose, when Stan in the burning mindscape says what could very well be his last words: Guess I was good for something after all.

Mabel getting mad at Grunkle Stan for lying about letting Waddles out which resulted in Waddles getting kidnapped by a pterodactyl. She gets so mad that she refuses to talk to him. This makes Grunkle Stan realize how important Waddles is to Mabel and saves him and Mabel forgives him.

#9 Dipper could only learn about manhood and masculinity from other men. And there's no such thing as Toxic Masculinity it is made up BS by feminists. Real masculinity is about confidence something that can be learned by a father figure or another alpha male figure.

I just want to know why the city if Fairfield, California was mentioned in the series. And because of tis series I will use the term Grunkle to define my relationship with my sister's future grandchildren (My niece and nephew are 31 and 29. PS I LIVE in Fairfield, CA.

I think the episode Into the Bunker teaches its viewers what you should do when you have feelings for someone and said person doesnt feel the same way; except it and move on. The TTG episode Sandwich Thief basically tells you that you should do the opposite.

How come the abuse Pacifica suffered at the a hands of her parents wasn't mentioned at all? That's a big one, especially considering the way it resulted in her snobbishness and bullying nature. At the very least it should have been mentioned in #4.

I know Escape from Reality was the weakest part of the series finale, but I actually enjoyed it and don't think it's as bad as some people say it is, and the issue mentioned in this video further supports my opinion on it.
reply

Regarding No. 8 sock puppet deception there are times where someone tries a crush's interests and they actually enjoy and are good at them. Basically, it doesn't hurt to try new things just don't do it for the wrong reasons.

Finally! A video on serious issues with Gravity Falls. Btw the show is one of my favorite shows and one of my favorite animated shows (its up there with Batman animated series and Avatar the last airbender.

u cant believe how excited i got when i saw the title of this video. i watched this as an innocent 11 year old who had the fattest crush on dipper. its cool to look back at it

Gravity falls really teaches young people many new ways of handling serious issues no matter Seeing soo's pick dipper and mabel as his family was so touching his dad really messed up.
reply

Honestly, number five really resonates with me. Amnesia is something I can deal with in fiction, but I despise the act of purposefully erasing or altering someones memories.
reply

Gravity falls was a huge cartoon in me and my sisters childhood. And looking back on it ten years later, its insane how many serious themes were covered in this series
reply

I think self worth should have made the list. As Stan faded away in Weirdmageddon he said maybe I was worth something after all. Sounds like super low self worth to me.
reply

Since Alex Hirsch and Dana Terrace worked on Gravity Falls and The Owl House, do you think all the creatures from Gravity Falls came from the Demon Realm?
reply

The show has been over 6 years, and people are still talking about, even though I would like a third season, I thought it ended on a high note.
reply

This is why Gravity Falls was an amazing show. It respected its audiences intelligence, had great writing and deeply fleshed out characters.
reply

Gravity Falls is one of the Disneys most iconic shows, alongside The Owl House.
1: 35-1: 42 This scene gets me every time.
