What did I watch in this movie? They showed Whitney as this person who had her life together doing things all the way up until she died. They failed hugeeeely into bringing up the fact her and Bobby Brown had a reality TV show leading up to her death and they were cracked out of their minds. Those two Whitney and Bobby taught the world to how counter act from a night of smoking it up all night how to get rid of the puffiness from partying your face off all night you have to smear hemorrhoids cream on your face to get the bags out. Whitney was cool, but the movie is completely fake, and wish they actually showed what she was going through and still get a standing ovation. Movie was a fraud. You tube has me shadow banned forever so you won't read this anyways

The actress looked nothing like Whitney, made it hard to watch for those who've watched Whitney her whole career. The actress looked more like Brandy so they casting made no sense. I expected more. The way Chadwick Boseman played the hell out of James Brown I think the casting here let the movie down in comparison to what Chad did with Get On Up. I don't understand casting someone who looks like Brandy to play Whitney. they're nothing alike yes Whit and we all love Brandy but the casting was just distracting and make it impossible to believe it was Whitney at all

I just feel so sorry that Nip never had come out to her own shell in terms of who she really was and just be her (the real her. Seems like whatever was dictated to her, it became her reality. Her love was so real for daughter, for her family, for robyn, for bobby, and for her music. Clive was right. She's the greatest voice of her generation.

I don't mean this in a cruel way, but due to how amazingly beautiful Whitney Houston was irl, I really wish they had picked a prettier young woman to play her in this movie. The woman they went with was an amazing actress and no doubt attractive, but she didn't have nearly as much feminine beauty as Whitney had. In fact, she was just too butch, in my opinion. It didn't seem like we were watching Whitney.

All through the movie they would start something and then drop it. Or they would come into something, such as her miscarriage, without setting up the prelude to it. All aspects of her life were surface skimmed nothing deep, nothing ventured. This is less a biography about Whitney the person than it is a showcase of her hits.

Love the fact that the movie didn't dwell on her addiction but more on her AMAZING voice and career! Seen the bad about but the fact is she was an amazing amazing person and her voice was a NEW Instrument introduced to this world and it will never be duplicated!

I think Naomi did an amazing job but its so confusing because when you look at the Bobby brown movie its so different when you look at the other Whitney movies they all say something different like certain things I know its true but its so many different stories

Horrible and disappointing MOVIE cheap and weird with all the respect that the cast deserve but if it was played in NETFLIX it could have been much better and between the MOVIE and the reality is a big quite messy. Anyway hard to watch.

Bobby is such a dick for never letting Whitney be the star that she was. Always had to be there lurking, photo bombing great moments and never appreciating what Whitney did for him to make him feel not insecure. He's such a pussy.

I hated the filming. It felt like a made for tv movie. Cheap set, camera angles, and script. Very thin and underdeveloped characters. It would have been fine as a Lifetime movie. It wasn't the quality of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Just finished the movie. Whitney is my all time favorite voice (not artist though) and the girl who acted her did a fantastic job. She was the best actor in the entire movie. I'm sure Whitney would have been proud.
