So MsMojo makes money picking apart any show that isn't completely cleansed of anything that could be mildly offensive? (by current standard or even future standards it seems) Some people refer to these faux pas as comedy. People can still laugh at themselves and enjoy a joke, contrary to what 3% of the population will tell you.
So the business model was to watch every episode with a keen eye for detail and hyper focus on anything that could possibly be mildly offensive to anyone in past or present day. (then call them Unforgiveable or say they didn't Age Well and get paid, lol)
MsMojo, you are not very funny.

This is an shining example of how political correctness stifles comedy. These things are funny to a lot of people and that doesnt mean we agree with the cringe-ness, but we laugh at its outrageousness. These characters are all flawed and we laugh at the flaws that often get them in trouble. The scripts dont reward their behavior!
And this also needs to be said: certain uncomfortable things people say and do in sitcoms are things most people can identify with. They may not be politically correct, but they are human realities. Lots of people who claim offense feel the same way, but dare not say it.

Watched the entire video. I was very surprised there wasn't a mention of a certain scene back in Season 4's The Agreement Dissection. Which while for the most part a fun episode in general, there is precisely one moment in the episode when Sheldon & Amy are dancing in a studio, where a random old man who asks Penny if she cares to dance to dance. She accepts and it's all fine and well until the guy gropes her butt. (She took it in stride, though and pulled his hand back up)
Don't know what exactly was the reason for this decision. Even fans of the show weren't proud of it.

That's an ok list and all, but you guys seriously tunnel-visioned on the guys' problematic behavior while forgetting Penny and Bernadette's meanness and manipulative ways. Or Leslie's or Emily, or any other female character you conveniently forgot. Hell, why isn't toxic masculinity on this list? There were so many times that the guys were insulted for not being conventionally masculine. It's literally in the backbone of the show. If we're bucking old, oppressive gender norms, then let's buck them all. Sometimes, virtue-signallers really tell on themselves with their rhetoric.

Innocence is hilarious, and the lack of free spirited humor shows that the world is becoming fake and way more unacceptable! The only way to get people to understand the harm of bullying and how they hurt people with their judgmental dumbness, is by keeping on to make fun of them and watching comedy about it. We are becoming a horrible society that only the powerful can decide which group is allowed to make fun of. Without freedom of speech we are doomed to be enslaved by a small minority of frigged unenlightened stiffs.

This just goes to show how this Gen Z group doesn't get life. Life isn't all about being non-offensive. It's about lucidity each other and our different view points. You guys have gotten so sensitive that seriously wonder if you'll survive the challenges of life. It's not that these scenes didn't age well, it's just your skewed view over what's acceptable. Art is a reflection of life, but if continue to color life as completely inclusive, the harsh realities of life will crush you. Grow up!

It's important to understand that The Big Bang Theory is a comedy series, which means it's meant to be exaggerated and sometimes even awkward. The show's purpose is to entertain and provide a bit of education while making people laugh. It's not meant to be taken as a representation of reality or to be scrutinized for its accuracy. Instead of getting upset about the show's lack of representation, it's better to just enjoy it for what it is - a lighthearted sitcom.

Only Stuart's depresion on this list should not be laught at, but sorry every other thing is fine, i dont care about political correctness, and series shouldn't stop showing wrong thing like discrimination or racism because they are wrong, it's sweaping problems under the carpet. Instead of they should show it in the way that clearly indicate that this things are wrong.
This list is proof that you are part of the problem of bad political correctness.

Now I haven't seen the full show and I don't want to offend anybody but I can't help but feel like this video, no offense, is taking things way too literally with the jokes of this show.
Yes, some of the jokes can't fly in real life but sometimes whenever it comes on down to movies or TV shows people just don't want to be a part of real life and make fun of things on their own accord as long as it's appropriate and that's always okay.

Sheldon mansplaining mansplaining was hilarious. However, considering he Sheldonsplained ) things to virtually everyone I'd like to point out that there are just people who do that. Sure, most of them are male, but they do it to men at least as much as they do it to women. I guess that could still be mansplaining. Perhaps some sort of cluelessness or douchiness should be included in a revised definition.

The show having people with problematic views and offensive humor is actually great because it points out that people can be brilliant in one area and absent minded in another. The offensive nature is the point of their ignorance in most cases and the show itself is aware and points that out. Most of the time your laughing the ignorance of the offender not the supposedly offended

Most of these comments are so annoying. Younger generations arent more sensitive than older generations. There are things I can watch now that were banned a few decades ago.
What I think the video got wrong is that the show is not endorsing the characters bad behaviour, as it sometimes purposely portrays characters as being horrible sometimes.

There is not one word of this video that I agree with. It is wokism at its worse. TBBT was FUNNY. Period. Full stop. The Three Stooges was funny. Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner were hilarious. Funny doesnt change definition just because a bunch of left-winged woke tender-hearts get offended. Give them enough rope and soon NOTHING will be funny.

This is one of the worst MsMojo. Who came up with this using such a lame-voice commentary voice makes it worse. It's like the producers or writers of this Mojo really have no better ideas or creativity. It's like the person who came up with this top 10 list has some kind of personal hatred for the Big Bang show.

I can't even with the fact this series narrative was so offensive they made us believe nerdy guys can attract hot women (Priya, Penny, Stephanie, Bernadette, etc) and that of those nerdy guys can even win a Nobel prize. That is so offensive to so many levels.
Was that sarcasm?

So making jokes about women in any capacity is misogynistic and bad but it's perfectly fine to make fun of the main characters being awkward, nerdy losers? This is the problem with this whole gender equality movement. Some women don't want equality, they want to be superior

There is nothing wrong with this show. What you are saying is that people who you highlight as depressed, LGBQ+, Overweight, etc are too much of a snowflake that they cannot laugh at themselves. Its a tv show let it be loved without nitpicking at irrelevant things.

Misogynistic characters were quite common in shows back when BBT began. Thank goodness that TV trope character died out over the years! Howard was particularly icky! Thank God after he married Bernadette, he stopped that behaviour and became a bit more tolerable.

Omg the show wasn't homophobic. Geez, Raj and Eric kissed. So we can make fun of themes and groups and other issues without being afraid of those things right? So why is it that every joke or slight to LGBTQ is considered phobic?

I thought I was the only one that didnt agree with most of the list until I saw the comments. People really need to understand its not the showrunners job to make everyone happy, comedy is literally built on stereotyping.

This list is a lot more PC than the show. Even though its just a few years old, many of their gags wouldnt ever hit the airwaves these days. Look up Bill Mahers definition for presentism.

There are shows and jokes that are just a product of their time.
I don't feel the need to cancel anyone over them but move forward and recognize how we have changed views from then.

This list seems very picky and I hope people realize that its a comedy and not to be taken seriously and they always had a way of making up for it by calling the characters out on it

The show was sincerely awful. The only redeeming person there was Penny, she literally went above and beyond for real jerks and she changed them for good.

It's not cultural insensitivity for Sheldon. It's cultural ignorance brought on by the fact that he's autistic like many of the world's rich and influential.
