I remember an old interview with Tony around the time of Tarzan's release where he talked about walking around his house practicing the Tarzan yell after getting the part. lol
Edited to add: As an illustrator who also adores drawing human anatomy, I have always LOVED watching Tarzan not only for the film itself but the animation of his anatomy. It's SUPERB. Anybody on the team who animated Tarzan himself in addition to Glen Keane had to have an abundance of detailed knowledge of superficial anatomy to accomplish his character design statically let alone in motion.
You can also see Glen Keane's anatomy knowledge in the transformation scene in Beauty and the Beast. He animated that part completely on his own over the course of a couple MONTHS because he wanted it to be _just so, _ and it paid off in spades. Just the animation of the hand is jaw-dropping in how textbook accurate it is.

Idris Elbas performance as Chief Bogo is very underrated! Apparently, hes one of the main reasons why Disney was able to craft him so perfectly and honestly, Im not surprised. His voice is as deep and intimidating as ever, but he really nailed the dry sense of humour and vulnerability the character has, deep down! Im really glad Bogo wasnt written as just a one-dimensional, strict, stubborn, gruff police chief. He had layers, thankfully. And I strongly believe Idris is to thank for that!
Life isnt some cartoon musical where you sing a little song and youre insipid dreams magically come true. So Let. It. Go.

I actually knew about Idris Elba. He might be known as the son of 9 mothers, thanks to his role as Heimdal in the Thor movies, and yes, Heimdal does have 9 mothers in total, but to me, he will always be the African buffalo that all kids secretly was a bit scared of, and adults saw as the seriously tough guy. I see Chef Bogo as that puffed up guy that secretly wants to smash through doors to celebrate Francines birthday.

Wow!
Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls ACTUALLY voiced Moana's mother and her singing voice and dubbed her in the Hawaiian language one! Wow! This is like the third Ms Mojo video that I've watched tonight or fourth or fifth where I've been shocked about something! Keep it up with the facts guys! Woo! EEP! :)

Zazu and Chief Boggo I recognised first time I heard them! I watched Zootopia a year after I saw The Jungle Book and all I could hear when Boggo opened his mouth was Shere Khan! Some of the others on the list Ive always known but cant say I recognised their voiced the first time

Tarzan is a great movie, but Brother Bear, i didn't care for that one much. Tarzan is way better, very heartfelt poignant family viewing, it has a great soundtrack, but Brother Bear, was very dissapointing, not much heartfelt poignant family viewing and dissapointed soundtrack.
reply

While Joaquin Phoenix voicing Kenai for Brother Bear was interesting since he did it for his young nephew at the time, I think what ties for best performance in Disney voice acting would be Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jim Hawkins and Michael J. Fox as Milo James Thatch.
reply

Joaquin Phoenix deserves to be number 1 (I would not even be surprised if that list was created just to praise him) First time I learnt it was him, I was like What? But that doesn't sound like him at all! Just prove what an incredible actor he is!
reply

Im surprised Neve Campbell voicing Kiara in The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride wasnt an honorable mention. I just found out a few days ago and that is such an under rated voice acting performance. She nailed it and knocked it out of the park
reply

Michael Keaton voiced Ken in toy story 3, Julia Louis Dreyfus voiced Atta in bugs life, David Spade voice Kuzco in emperor new groove, Steve Buchemi voiced Randall in monsters inc, Jason Lee voiced syndrome in the Incredibles.
reply

Even after watching Moana so much I still never noticed her mother was voice by Nicole S. Esmeralda is also one of my favourite characters so I always knew Demi voiceed her. Also knew about most of all the others.
reply

The first clip you used of Tarzan after saying that he and his scandal character are the same voice for the same man is actually inaccurate; Brian blessed who plays Clayton in the movie actually did Tarzans yells: -)
reply

Brother Bear was my Disney movie, I loved watching it as a kid!
A pity Joaquin Phoenix didnt return for the sequel.
I read somewhere that he said Brother Bear 1 was the only voice over performance hed do.

reply

Patrick Dempsey also did a fantastic job voicing Kenai in the sequel. I went for years not knowing that it was him, but I was happily surprised! Both he and Joaquin have such soothing warm voices.
reply

Wow. I couldn't handle the whole video due to the overabundance of kissing butt. Jeez, could you possibly get any farther up Oprah's butt? Did she pay you guys or what? Oh brother. SMH.
reply

I love brother bear! Also interesting fact
Joaquin Phoenix didn't go by his real name until after the passing of his brother River Phoenix. he made a promise to him and he's keeping it
