We totally forgot these 90s movies existed, but should we have? For this list, well be looking at animated films from the 1990s that have since seemingly faded into obscurity. Our countdown includes Balto, Rock-a-Doodle, Cats Don't Dance, and more! What 90s animated flick do YOU think is worth revisiting?

Rover Dangerfield is an absolute treasure. I got to meet Rodney Dangerfield on a freak chance when I was in Jr. High. Went to Planet Hollywood restaurant and we got seated in a booth near the back since there weren't any other seats available for our sized group at the time. Heard a voice I recognized so I stood on the seat and looked down and over to see Rodney. and he saw me too. I scared the hell out of him and he let me know in his patented way.
He was cool about it though, even bought a dessert for our table (I think he felt bad for freaking out when he saw me) and he stopped on the way out to talk for a minute. Class act, good guy.

Hello, i need help
So there is this one movie i loved but i cant remember its name So its older movie about two siblings (brother and sister) that are sleeping in their bedroom when suddnely some small creature shows up in their room and teaches them how to fly so they can go to the world of dreams. (it looks like a big cloud) And when they go there they see all kind of dream creatures and they meet like a queen of dreams idk, but i vividly remember the ending of a movie being somewhere on the moon, where kids are in the rocket waiting for it to launch so that they can go back home if someone remembers it would be great

The moment you said Chanticleer. I was like Oh My Godney. I remember. I did not know the original title of Rock A doodle so anothervreason why I could not remember. I also own a physical copy of the Duck Tales movie. I also had watched the second part of An American Tale without seeing the first one. Never seen A Troll In Centra ln Park or Balto but I remember being mentionted. Roger Dangerfield is so funny. Thank you for reminding me of that movie.

Balto is not unpopular, its being used in crossovers a lot. And quest of Camelot too. You know why they are underrated? Because they are not Disney, simply. Disney was a god back then. There was Disney and only Disney. Idealism renessaince golden age. Never heard of the others except rock a doodle. Don Bluth makes satanic movies, too dark. Anastasia is popular and iconic!

Number one is James and the giant peach? HELL NO No one ever forgot about James and the giant peach Alleast no one I know ever forgot about that movie Everyone I know around my age loves this movie along with A nightmare before Christmas I call those two movies underground movies because the masses didnt appreciate them but the real Tim Burton fans did and still do
reply

Yeah Balto would have definitely been overshadowed by Toy story quite a few classics found more success on home video out of Jurassic park and Were back a dinosaur story you can tell which one made more money and I use to like Ducktales treasure of the lost lamp sounds similar to Aladdin though sorcerer wanting control over a genie
reply

Not sure if this falls into this category but Treasure Planet was a film I think was underrated and not talked about as much today
We always got stories about Disney girls finding their way in their lives after losing their parental figure(s) but I think TP was the first Disney film to do it with a male character!

I adore Balto, Quest for Camelot (though that one I can acknowledge is a bit of a mess, I just don't care, James and the Giant Peach. I could NEVER forget them. I watched James & the Giant Peach so many times. I've only seen it a couple times since I stopped having a VHS player, but it has lived in my mind & heart.

Balto was always one of my favorite animated movies. Even Balto 2 was great. Shit pulled on your hearts strings and had a lot of action Balto was a real dog and he was a legend. A real legend and i can't get over how awesome that is. What a great set of movies. I wish more people enjoyed Balto it really is a gem.

I love American tail and Balto and I knew we're back a dinosaur story would be on here I loved that movie so so good hit the right emotional chords too.
If people haven't see them they should.
I was expecting once upon a forest, I love that movie but nobody seemed to know it and thought I was dreaming it.

Balto and A Troll In Central Park and Rover Dangerfield and DuckTales The Movie Treasure Of The Lost Lamp and Rock-A-Doodle and Quest For Camelot and Cat's Don't Dance and James And The Giant Peach think is worth revisiting on TV or on Hulu or on Netflix or on Disney Plus or on the DVDs
reply

I particularly enjoyed them when growing up in the 2000s and 2010s. But I didnt know that Fievel Goes West, Quest For Camelot, Were Back! A Dinosaurs Story, James and the Giant Peach, and others have been unimportant, forgotten, underrated. Not to mention underappreciated.
reply

Quest for Camelot was my favorite movie as a kid, same with An American Tail, and Balto. James and the Giant peach creeped me out as a kid, mainly cause I don't like bugs, but I think it was mainly the realistic spider.
reply

Almost none of these are forgotten, distribution companies just either never released them after their first run, they never got a dvd run, or they only got a dvd run when dvds first came out and never got a Blu-ray release
reply

No offense to those that like it, but James and the Giant Peach was so popular when it came out but didn't watch it because I could never see the appeal. I finally saw it as an adult and I still don't see the appeal.
reply

Balto and Quest for Camelot are my two favourite movies in this list and I'm sad they're as low as the are. They're two great movies, glad Quest for Camelot is in the top 5 but I think it should be higher
reply

Everybody can concldue the 90's was a decade of animation renaissance, both Disney and non-Disney. Nostalgic characters, storyline, and animation bestowed millenials a colorful childhood.
reply

Amazing how all the films on the list of this video were shown to be forgotten. But most of them I had never forgotten because they held a place in my heart since childhood.
reply

I love but hate the fact that she mentioned Balto but did not even mention the fact that there are three Balto movies there was even a very small and short series based off of Balto
reply

I remember that troll in Central Park. I seem to remember the ending where the little boy has a green thumb and pretends to suck his thumb to hide it from his parents
reply

Now I have to go watch James and the giant peach. I saw it once as a kid but I did totally forget about it!
Fievel goes west on the other hand, I had that movie

reply

The only one I didn't know was the troll movie, everything else I either grew up with or watched one time and remembered how strange it was (the the peach movie)
reply

I've never forgot about any of these especially Balto and James and the Giant Peach I'll remember both of those movies till I'm dead.
reply

My grandma died when I was born and before she left, she bought me a Fievel doll cause she said it looked like me. Had it ever since
reply

I love James and The Giant Peach; I wore out my VHS copy as a kid and drove my family insane with how often I watched that movie.
reply

James and the Giant Peach is a fantastic movie. I watched it so many times. The art style for its time was incredible
reply

I saw most of these when I was a kid. Heck, even have some of them on VHS. Guess this calls for a childhood movie marathon!
reply

Okay some of these 90's animated movies I did not forget some of them I just didn't bring up because I don't care for them
reply

A good chunk of these i only know of because of Netflix. I would just click on anything that looked interesting.
