Found alot of your choices to be wrong. Not my favorite show but the best finale of all time is definitely Six Feet Under. Proof of this is that many of the shows you rsnked ahead of it ended after it and imitated it s ending. They tried to use the same kind of fast forward showing the lives and fates of the characters. However these were poor imitations, eithout the poeer of the original. I remember watching the oru and was so stunned and moved by yhe ending that I had to sit in silt to absorb it. Also some of your choices seemed to be biased towards Gen X and Millennials shows that were not always excellent. You left out Mash and Mary Tyler Moore Show finales widely considered to be among the best by critics. Some of your choices were good but Boy Meets World, give me a break

Big Bang Theory was (and still is) my favorite show ever. But I HATED the storyline of Penny being pregnant. She mentioned over and over again that she didn't want kids throughout many episodes. And then suddenly she's pregnant and happy? Sheldon literally says I didn't even think congratulations are in order, I thought Penny didn't want children and Leonard just comes back with Well she didn't, and now she does. And we're supposed to think Sheldon is the one who's being insensitive?
I would've love to seen Penny to through all the emotions of her accidental pregnancy. Or not get pregnant at all.

I never saw the Glee finale. I got tired of the drama of the show midway through the third season, and after Cory Monteith passed, I just didn't love it anymore. But there's still a soft spot in my heart for it, and every so often, I think of those early days, watching the show for the first time, and I smile. Seeing this video, finally learning how things all turned out, brought tears to my eyes.
I also got choked up at the Boy Meets World, Big Bang Theory, and Fresh Prince. Those finales broke me then, they still break me now.

TBBT should've ended with an extended version of the scene 20 years into the future (where they had agreed to meet outside the building and get together to have dinner): Stewie there all alone, thinking no one else remembered, and then seeing Denise and the rest of the gang arriving along with their children.

I'm surprised Brooklyn 99 & Family Matter arent on the list! For the latter I thought it was great seeing Steve finally win Laura & Eddie come into his own with what career he wanted. As for the former, that last heist was the quintessential way to reveal how much they'd progressed & wrap up everybody's stories

One of my very favourite series ending was the English series To The Monor Born. Episode One sees Audrey leaving Grantley Manor after husband dies, leaving her in perilous financial straights. The finally is her buying the Manor back and getting engaged to the man who had lived in the Manor in between.

I am a little older than MsMojo. I would like to add: Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen, MASH (1983-1994. The final episode was 2. 5 hours long, which tied every loose end of the series. Thirty years later, I still remember the good cry I had over Hawkeye Pierce and the 'chicken'.

Both the season 7 finale of Gilmore Girls and the revival's finale belong on this list. I don't think I've cried harder than on Lorelai relating the memory of Richard taking her to the theater to see Grease and An Unmarried Woman.

the supernatural finale also made me happy cry. cause dean was finally at peace and in heaven baby and bobby and sam got to live the life he always wanted with raising a family and died of old age then meeting dean again in heaven

Parks and rec was great too.
They started as a department that didnt even matter to the city.
Now that city it greater than ever with them in great lifes with flash backs and flash forwards.
So yeah

My favorite TV show ending - At the end of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the town of Sunnydale is destroyed. Our favorite slayer is asked, What are you going to do now? And Buffy just smiles.

The Good Place finale is beautiful. I watched that serie after my father died and it was so comforting that, although I'll always miss him, he'll always be with me because I'm part of him
reply

I loved the Good Place, I could watch it 20 billion times, which I've watched at least 5 times already, I learn something new and I still cry. Should have been higher in the countdown.

I would like to write in vote the Agents of Shield finale. The team comes to the realization they can't be in the same place ever again but they meet virtually and it's very touching.

The Good Place was a brilliant series, but the finale just hit all the marks we didnt even know existed. Chidis talk about death never fails to make me cry hot, silent tears.

So glad that The Mentalist made it on this list, I love that show so much and the wild ride that was Jane and Lisbon's relationship made the finale so much more satisfying

Thanks for showing the REAL finale of Scrubs! Here in Germany Scrubs - Med School was merchandised as Season 9, but it didn't even come close to the other 8 seasons.

Lol, another bogus list. The final episode of the Mary Tyler Moore show is what all other shows are measured by. These lists are done by people who have no clue.

What about Star Trek: TNG 's finale. The cast about to play poker thinking about what Picard told them only to have him come in and deal the final hand.
reply

#18 should be #1. I hope my other favorite show makes it on the list!
(Edit) What's with all the snubs for Bones! It was on for 12 seasons too!

EXCUSE me this list needs to be updated to include Never Have I Ever. One of the best series finales of all time. I was happy crying throughout.

2 phones with 2 numbers and pays 2 bills? Don't you have external memory cards - or memory sticks as they were originally called - in the U. S?
reply

The good place has made something extrodinart by giving a second chance to people who were terrible but in the end they made it as good people
reply

The Good Place packs a mean punch. That hit hard in terms of depth. The Office, however, pulls at those heart-strings. Thanks for this one.

I forgot about the That 70s finale! Such an emotional last episode. Those guys got me through late high school and a lot of college.
reply

So many mediocre and low-rated shows on this list. I would have included MASH, Parenthood, The West Wing, Mary Tyler Moore, and Veep.
reply

The absolute best series finale was #NeverhaveIever we wanted a spin-off series of especially Devi with her and Ben together
reply

I still think that Rachel should have mentioned Finn in her speech. She wouldn't have gotten where she was without him.
reply

The shows that I thought had a great emotional finale was The Flash, Liv and Maddie, American Dragon
