Gonna do it in 3 tiers, 3 lowest message - highest
1:
Frozen,
Toy story,
Incredibles,
2:
Dumbo,
Finding Dory (its more accepted these days is why its not in their 1)
Lilo & Stitch (we dont think about as much, because we know its normal for any grown up in the family to live or take in another child from the family: we learn this in Mrs. doubtfire)
Coco (yes death is scary to face but I see it as a normal breath and the your breathing in heaven: so just death is in here: tied 2, but of course everything surrounding it: from other movies, is probably in tier 1,
Zootopia (10 years ago it would be in tier 1, these things as in girls and bullying well arent around in work places)
Mulan (like zootopia)
Turning red,
Mulan,
3:
Lion king,
Big hero 6,
Up,
Tangled,
Pochahontis,
Inside out,
Brother bear,
The ones that hit home for a lot:
Frozen 1 & 2,
Lion king,
Toy story 3,
Big hero 6,
Up,
Tangled,
Coco,
Brother bear.
Other ones that hit close to home for me as well as the above:
Frozen 1 & 2: we ALL deal with these things at some point,
Lion king: WE ALL DEAL WITH THIS NO MATTER WHAT: was no more than a kid when my dad left us but I had only been an adult a year before having to do something for the preparation for after and I was told the year I turned an adult about it, but I dealt with the fact day after day since I was 12 how ill he was and that today could be the day: I figured that one out on my own when I wasnt told he was ill but was missing things that only happen once: leaving primary, starting high school, 13th birthday, my dances from dance shows, gymnastics competitions: he would have been their if he could I realised and that made me realise how ill within3 weeks, a further day 7 weeks later and 9 months later when he was clearly absent at my 13th: made me realise he could be hear one second and not another: cancer: I knew he was gonna loose his fight, he did after 8 years: it was like he wanted to see his final 2 grow up: he saw my sister have all her last important birthdays 18 and 21: she was 16 at the time he was diagnosed: near 17: she had 2 to go and he saw her through them and moved out, college, job and kids, He was getting tested when I was near 12 and diagnosed when I was 12 only just: as I said the first notable that I knew he would never miss: unless it was something he couldnt control: is my 13th, my 16th: but that one was expected and I didnt have a party just went to school, dance and volunteered at the brownies: only the owners at the brownies knew it was (I had been their Brownie, as had my sister, my family knew but nothing was different as I just did my usual stuff, By the time my 18th came around he was only getting days away: I knew he wouldnt be their: I didnt think hed make it too my 16th but he did, by the time I turned 18: I was facing loosing him at speed, I had so much my mental health took a toll is how he didnt see me finish college, I never wanted to be a teen mother and made sure I wasnt: he never made it too my 21st or anything he saw my sister have,
Toy story 3: well OBVIOUSLY WE ALL DEAL WITH THIS: the only difference I would say is childhood doesnt end when you stop playing with toys its when you start acting like an adult and dealing with adult things and acting like one and going through all that change not just college: so you can grow up at any age if you can deal with that not just college or alcohol: so as a kid you can be thrust into an adult world,
Big hero 6: we ALL deal with it goes with the lion king but the aftermath of coping,
Up: we ALL deal with this like the lion king and Big hero 6: the loss, but most will know someone who has a miscarriage at some point: my sister had one right before Xmas 2 years ago and destroyed her and more so because she was literally just telling people about 5 months In because people consider that the safe zone: truth you can loose your child at any point and have to have the one like my sister did to get the baby out, or the parents go into labour knowing the baby will be still not or of course they might not but find out as their isnt an actual safe zone during pregnancy,
Tangled: I think ALL of us deal with this at at least one point with our parents or guardians: it got that bad between my dad and brother: that my brother desserts the family over 20 years ago, even though my dad hasnt been hear for 9, Chris hasnt came back and Im not going to walk away from my entire family like him BUT how bad it is doesnt directly go to lilo & Stitch but of course other adults look after us in all circumstances not just if the parents die, So when I can finally move out: my mother will be given an address and phone number with a London part at the bottom: that doesnt exist, as I cant have her in my life: people think Im dramatic about certain things: well shes a good reason and the best reason why the worst has happened to me,
Coco: ALL OF THE HUMAN RACE,
Brother bear: we ALL do something wrong, we have to deal with it and try to fix it to the best of our ability: even if its not a big fix to how much weve done,
The others that hit home for me:
Finding Dory: personal to me because I have epilepsy: a disability but combined the inevitable of my years of every tablet to get the right combination to get the epilepsy under control: makes me feel like dory because my memory can dissolve at any second and get me really confused, panicked and upset,
Lilo & Stitch: I hinted in the movie tangled: kids go to other adults in the family not just if the parents die but for a lot of serious things to keep them safe: might not be the same reason: but its got the storyline part of living with another adult than our own parents,
Inside out: moved schools in S5: I was picked on severely from S2-start of S4, fact I had made really really close circle of friends because of this and moving schools and not seeing them again: even though the other school is just across town: only 1 out of 9 lived in the town: as 3/4 people from that high school dont live in the town but the one I moved to over 3/4 people live in the town: So I went in knowing I was saying bye to my friends but I thought well Im going to one where I know pretty much everyone in the school at some point or another we have come across each other and become friends and as everyone from my hobbies but only 2 people went to that high school (of the people that were in high school): meant I had really close friends, one week after moving schools someone I had been friends with for 6 years but had met 10 years ago turned on me and accused me of bullying (when if she knew just how badly the bullying was in S2-start of S4: or if the teachers made a phone call to the other school they would have known it wasnt true): So that took away ALL friends in my year and the ones that I had been friends for years and years with especially at dance because we both went to the same dance school took as many classes as we could: the same amount: 8: but only 1 of those was without the other making the rest really awkward and the people who knew me for longer or not as long but hung out or spent more time with wouldnt pick sides like in school: where it was new kid: rumours: know matter what you believe, go with the other kid that had had been their from S1 was the code, the same didnt exist in dance as they were all our friends and I was the longest student or other at that entire dance school by then but it made EVERY SINGLE CLASS AKWARD AND UNHAPPY FOR ME EVEN IF THEY WERE NICE TO BOTH: IT WASNT THE SAME AND MADE IT AKWARD FOR ALL, the fact that Id been put though something only just under 2 months prior that was much more serious and the dance teacher commenting on by the time the show came: meant after the summer I wasnt being vocal or my behaviour wasnt showing my feelings like in my first high school (it did at a much later point in school: not resulting in much compared to my first high school): so I went into serious depression at 16: my fav days or times: at dance: when she wasnt their, coz I knew no one at dance believed her meant they were all my genuine friends and they didnt have to act differently so it was weird, we were just us friends or at gymnastics were she wasnt: Id had a close friends ship group, that had changed as knew people can and others went, but they had started ruining the club when they took it over 3 years earlier: from 3 classes and more wanting to join and quit a year later or stop helping out: 3 years later 1 class all ages: even though they were probably P5-S1 by the time the final year was their: theirs a photo of us: their wasnt enough money to hire the P. E hall, we were in the lunch room and the photo shows us in a pyramid: it wasnt a genuine one like performed in previous parades and everyone pulling their weight and able to do a whole display, no it was us on the final week: truly shows how many were their: 8: so of course we had gotten close over that year especially and wed been in the same class for at least 3 years: as they were putting younger ones who could keep up in that class: so we had just grown closer and their was also the happiness is that it was held in my old school: so it was happier their, until the club closed down, we were all invited to her other club and a successful one but for me it was too much as that was the building I had walked out of and got put through something illegal: the bad thing that happened before the bullying that the dance teacher knew something was up: So I knew I couldnt handle being it that building

Beauty and the Beast should have been on the list, because it teaches the old adage beauty is only skin deep, or never judge a book by its cover.
The beast while ugly on the outside has a beautiful kind and caring inside, which is the inverse of Gaston, who may be handsome to look at, but he has a dark and ugly inside. something the remake made apparent when he essentially abandones Belle's father to the wolves.
I think the Rescuers should have made the list, because it not only shows child abuse, but the old saying be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it.

Lilo and Stitch doesn't only look at the family dynamic between Nani and Lilo following their parents' deaths, but also opens up discussion about raising someone who is potentially autistic. Lilo fits all the basic traits of Autism in young girls: impulsive, reckless, unable to voice her feelings properly or respectfully, weird hyperfixations (the pictures of beach-goers; 'voodoo' and Pudge the fish.
Seriously, pull up a list of symptoms of autism and go back and watch Lilo & Stitch. You'll be checking several boxes along the entire movie.

I think the biggest mistake of the hunchback of notre dam was making Frollo this crazy evil person. He should have been way grayer of a character for it to work, as he lost his realism by being this monster, which kind of defeats the whole moral story one could learn.
Frollo here is bad because he is evil, sadist and so on, not because he is a religious extremist or someone who abuses their power.
His idealogy didnt corrpt him, he is corrupt by default and has an ideology behind himself as well, and that is different

6: 38 like I know this is supposed to be an emotional scene and everything, but all Im thinking is why didnt Mufasa just tell Simba, hey, son, stop beating yourself up because it was actually scar who killed me. Like I feel like thats some important information to relay. And we learned from the second movie that he can kind of just appear in the sky at random, so it that context Im wondering why he didnt do this like years sooner.

Just a reminder that instead of banning the use of animals in circuses, maybe a system of proper documentation from an outside source during the training of captive bred animals could be used instead so that we can have circuses and safety for the animals used. I wanted to go the circus so badly when I was a kid, but when I turned 11, they shut down the last one in the US. I was so mad

As someone who has autism, I really like how there are showing that to younger kids who have a disability or not, as someone who has a severely Autistic brother who is serve its great to see that portrayed on screen and is so retable to me in many ways, its great. Also i can relate to having Trauma and letting go of the past and anxiety all of that.

Coco is my favorite movie of all time, being someone who had their great-grandparents being a good chunk of my life and even got to know my great-great grandmother when I was _very_ young, it was wonderful to see a movie show a kid having a close bond with his great-grandmother and get to meet his great-great grandparents (even if was in death.

i wish atlantis would have been mentioned. the story of the difference between searching for knowledge and searching for profiit is pretty powerful. and kida is an amazing character. First princess in disney history to punch someone. (Sorry Anna) Kida and milo have a beatiful friendship built on respect. i think it deserves to be on this list

My panda, my choice, mom.
In a way, that makes me think of the topic of abortion.
The panda's a part of her, so she can do with it as she chooses.
Pregnant women/girls claim that since the baby/fetus is within them, then they can choose what happens to it, even if that means murdering it.
(of course not all females, but many)

Disney's stories are always SYMBOLIC, the new ones are more, the olders are more sublte, both are perfect from their own perspectives
But I've notice how some idiots like to rant badly on the villains, which is like if you have more success, you get more hate.
But, yeah Disney is getting cornered, for really small reasons.

pochantas was a glorication of colonialism and racism. the song 'savages' echoes Trump's words: 'bad people on both sides'. furthermore, it does not capture the fact that the whites literally WIPED out most of the natives which prompted their NEED to bring another race of people to dominate to the 'new world'.

I did some research and the war mentioned in Encanto was a war that partially happened due to Panama becoming independent and their diplomatic representative in America giving the land for the Canal to the American government. So the Madrigals problems were partially caused by American capitalism.

Lilo and Stitch is so much more then just Child Custody and Loss.
As a child i always felt like i never belonged somewhere and i felt so different then my family.
Later i became depressive and this movie helped me.
It felt like it was made for me and that Lilo and Stitch was based on me.

I always found Nemo and Dory representing different disabilities. Such as Nemos being physical and Dorys mental. Which is why I love them both: ) I love doing studies of films, especially with actual deep themes that u dont recognise as a kid, but the more u get older the more u understand.

I think it really good that Disney tackled these serious issues in these movies, i feel like these are topics that kids aren't understanding these days, so it's great that Disney is teaching kids these issues so that they can be more aware about these topics

Except that Treasure Planet was NOT about absentee parents and abandonment, it was about the importance of father figures, which is related but COMPLETELY different.
But god forbid you could somehow suggest men have any kind of value.

In brother Bear deals with the guilt of actually murdering someone. Granted it was a bear but it was someone's mother and he has to face the fact that what's done cannot be unchanged all you need to do is the next right thing

Elemental: Child manipulation. Never manipulate your child into thinking him/her taking over your buisness is your dream only to tell him you were always the dream and not apologize

Honestly I think Bambi 2 also deserved at least a mention. It portrays great the loss of a mother figure and the single parenting challenges (especially those of a single dad)

Here's the thing while some villains never change there are some villains who we can't help but feel bad for after what we've seen in some cases of movie villains.

I wonder where Strange World would place because it brings up both parents expectations for their children and industrial progress and the damages it does to world

The Next Right Thing hit me HARD. As someone who's been battling depression most of my life, I had seen a song capture what I have been experiencing so accurately.
