I have never seen a single episode of Bluey, but my parents often leave it on for my sister's baby to watch. So, I often hear it while I'm doing other things. I must say this though; Not only does it look ADORABLE, but watching this list, I am very impressed with how much effort that they've managed to put into it. A whole episode with the art style of a preschooler's refrigerator art, an entire episode centered around hand puppets, an invisible character, a brilliantly conveyed dream sequence and even educating children about loss (9: 56. These writers are geniuses.

I think my favorite Bluey episodes are the ones with drawings like what we had in Escape and Dragon. I like those a lot because they do a great job showing everyones perspective and drawing skills. Id love to see an episode where its all the Heelers telling a story, but everyone takes over drawing from their perspective.

Sleepytime to me emulates a Fantasia segment, with music and animation driving the story. I have a feeling that Joe Brumm might have been inspired by either Fantasia 1940, Fantasia 2000's Firebird (especially the ending part) or if there was another source of inspiration that could have been in Sleepytimes Creation.

Oh my goodness I watch Bluey with my little nieces they really like the show and the show does teach you life lessons I've been watching it for a very long I've been watching it with my niece's since they were little I really like to show and it's really touching and also can touch at your Heartstrings

In the episodes, mothersday, rain, and sleepy time they all have conversations surrounding them about how theres refrences to how bluey is a raimbow baby and along with partly why its hard for chillis sister to be around them bc she knows her sister struggled too but was successful with her dream

Rain is my husband's favorite for this reason - he says it's nice to see the animation really shine.
What I love with Escape and Dragon is that the actual animation is still solid even when the designs are sketchy.

Ooh so even Bluey can have experimental artsy moments in certain episodes throughout the series? I may not have kids nor do I view much of this show, but learning that this childrens show can step into experiential art territory is very fascinating in my opinion
