How Kim and Ron both in their own way each make sure that the other is safe so they can both goes back home safety. Kim know deep down that Ron is in this because of her so she show plenty of times to be protective of him and if he's truly in danger she'll stop what she is doing to make sure he's safe. In return Ron is much more content in living in a normal life but he also believes in never be normal, want to be a supportive friend and just want to ensures that she is alright. He knows Kim is competitive and capable but he also know she could possibly get herself in danger. We see Kim worries lot about his safety but rarely do we see Ron worries about her. Mostly because he know that she could handle it but still he is always still there just in case if she isn't. On the rare times that he isn't the moment he hears that she is in trouble he doesn't hesitant to go after her.
Ron brought the jacket that Kim wanted with his own earned money.
Despite somehow never telling Kim that he already knew how to cook and bake, Ron proves to be a patient tutor to Kim during cooking class.
How both of them will do anything for the other when things come to shove. Kim do not tolerates anybody bullying Ron, help him with his math homework and watched over Rufus while his family was on vacation to Paris. In return Ron tries to help Kim not put too much pressure/expectation on herself, did everything to find a plant to save her life and even went out of his way to bond with a monkey after mistaking it for her.
We see through old pictures of them helping out one another whether if Ron is giving a replacement ice cream cone to Kim or Kim giving Ron a ride on her bike for the grand opening of Bueno Nachos.
In the Christmas episode Kim is a fan of her grandparents getting a Christmas decoration on their first Christmas together. Later on Ron interesting enough ended up giving her family a original Christmas. Also, there's the fact that Kim seriously was freaking out over the thought that Ron possibly got killed. There's also the hug on the cd cover of her gift to Ron which clearly show how attached she really is to him despite acting annoyed lot of times with him.
The fact that Ron trust Kim to watch Rufus and in return she both is nervous about his reaction to the fact he got kidnapped and don't want to ruin his vacation. Also makes you wonder how he responded to the picture later on. Did he confronted Kim and she came clean to him or did he figured things out on his own and decided to keep it a secret since what matters to him that Kim did kept Rufus safe at the end of the day?
The fact that both families are shown to approves of their friendship/relationship. This is especially notable with minor family members of Kim such as Joss and Larry.
How both of them will often listen to the other ranting/problems and tries to help the other with it. They also know each other many secrets.
While Kim totally overreacted with Yori and didn't bother to try to talk to Ron about it deeper about it, some of her behavior is understandable when you considers she was confused and hurt underneath the jealously. Ron had another female friend that just appeared out of nowhere and then they took off a trip to South America without telling her. On some level she really was worried about Ron's safety. She only calmed down and went back into logical thinking after Ron explained that there was actually a deeper reason behind the girl on why he never went to her for help.

This was a good show but it would been nice to explore Kim and Ron's relationship and past deeper although we do get a glimpse of it through talking, childhood pictures and the Stitch in Time film. Thinking about now I thought of a perfect line that sums up the show.
Bueno Nacho - Kim/Ron - Sometime I feel like I don't know you anymore.
They said this out of frustration at the time but when you look at the show it is actually fitting on some level. Every relationship especially long-term ones have their struggles occasionally. It is no doubt that these two are very close and have a trusting relationship but they are also at the age where they are finding themselves and these two do take different routes to do that which leaves mixed results. Kim want to make a name for herself in high school so she is on a path to create a larger than life reputation. While her ambitious can be admirable it also can be her downfall since she is so worry about others opinions that she isn't really enjoying the remain of her youth as much as she should. Even though she spent time with the boy everyday it would also be very easy for her to maybe accidentally overlook few things about Ron. To her he is just her goofy and clumsy but loyal and sweet best friend/later boyfriend. Meanwhile to Ron, he is aware deep down that childhood is ending soon and want to hold onto the innocent as long as he can. He doesn't fully get why Kim is putting all of these pressures onto herself. However he have little concerns outside of getting a passing score to move up to the grade and holding onto some outdated childhood traditions which isn't completely healthy either.
Bottom line is that Ron have to learn to be more assertive and accept that it is time to start a new chapter and that it doesn't have to be a bad chapter. Sometimes it could be even better than before. This help him see that there is nothing wrong with having expectations on yourself. Meanwhile Kim have to take a step back and look to see if maybe she missed something when she wasn't looking. Unlike the audience, she isn't usually there when he do something impressive and if she does she probably isn't looking too close to them. So in the finale she kinda get to see a different side to Ron that she didn't expect. Probably the first time in a little while these two are completely on the same page again. What do you think?

Would I like to see a Kim Possible reboot! Oh hell no! That show was so ahead of its time and it ended perfectly for all the characters. There's a reason for the saying, If it isn't' broken, don't fix it. It's why the cast of Friends chose to so a reunion and revisit the set instead of making a sequel because they all knew the finale wrapped up the series perfectly.
Don't get me wrong, sometimes reboots and sequels of classics can work (iCarly for example, but the majority of the time they don't. Classics are classics for a reason! Disney needs to leave this show untouched and air reruns on television and keep it on streaming.
I am so glad you guys showed the clip of Kim standing up for Ron when they met and saying, Hey bullies! It's one of my favorite moments and has stuck with me since I was a kid! And Shego's backstory! My second favorite episode (So the Drama being the first) was a Stitch in Time! It was so much fun seeing the twins grown up and teaming up with Wade who was more active and when it was revealed that Shego took over the world, not Drakon, and the future clone of Rufus said, I thought that would be obvious. She was the only one smart enough to take over the world. Classic!
My other favorite episode was the Talent Show one, which had one of my favorite moments when Kim got locked in a box, almost drowned, escaped, fought a shark, then made it to the talent show and gave that iconic performance of the song, Say the Word, which had such a great message for kids! And the fact that Ron won made it all the better!
Not only did Kim Possible do a great job at tackling classic superhero tropes and adding new and fresh concepts to them, but the character dynamics were also genius, especially in the way that Ron and Drakon and Kim and Shego were mirrors of each other personality wise.
Also the fact that the live action film missed the opportunity to cast Elizabeth Gillies as Shego, when her performance on Victorious made it clear she would have embodied the character and brought her to life perfectly is a disgrace!
It's almost as bad as Hollywood not casting Bryan Cranston to play Lex Luthor when his performance on Breaking Bad made it clear he was born for the role! Liz would have been the perfect Shego!

Maybe I'm looking into a kid's show too much, but it doesn't make any sense to me how Shego lost all her fights with Kim. She had genuinely threatening powers while Kim had no powers whatsoever. Also she's in her early to mid twenties while Kim is in her teens, meaning Shego has significantly more fighting experience than Kim.

I remember watching a sitch in time as one of my top favorite moments from KP. As a kid I had always wonder if Kim and Ron was gonna be a couple considered the fact they are best friends growing up. God, I love this show! A reboot would be cool if the VA's were up to it! The reboot probably being Ron and Kim trying to juggle home life, both jobs as a crime fighter and their career, and maybe kids! Through if it never happens I can happily live with original! It will never go out of style!

The show definitely deserves a revival and I think that the actress who played Chelsea Daniels in Thats So Raven and Ravens Home (I dont know how to spell the actresss name) should play Kim Possible because I heard in a TikTok video that she was originally going to play Kim Possible anyways.

I look at KP as my idol since I was just 4. I even had the video game for my ps2, Disney creator teams actually did a good job in this well i had love the idea for kim and shego to have that kind of love connection, To be honest at first, I couldve sworn that shego had to be like 18

What was really heartwarming, is that the whole school(except bonnie) including staff, were cheering for kim and ron being together. It's like what they all have been waiting for, knowing that it is true love between the two. Monique and rufus were relieved that it happened.

I love love Kim possible so much and I am on the last season of that show on Disney plus but I am going to rewatch Kim possible again from the beginning and yes they should reboot Kim possible since Totally spies is coming back for season 7 next year.

I absolutely love the So the Drama movie and I watched it on repeat so many times.
I also really love the Sink or Swim episode for so many reasons such as Ron saving the day, seeing Gil and all the stranded teen movie tropes.
